If I recall correctly, Dave gunged him first I think. So Mario's reasoning for gunging Dave was probably a tit-for-tat nomination.

I'm still at a lost as to why a HM who wins the 'S&R' task doesn't replace themselves with a HM they have nominated (provided neither are actually up for eviction also). Steve choose Mario as his replacement even though he nominated Josie and so on. Are some of them really that gutless? In particular Mario who, only a few hours earlier, had a row with John James in the bathroom.

Yep, tis the case. I liked that Mario replaced himself with Sam after only a week when it was only last week he couldn't bring himself to replace the other newbies. He makes no sense

You are right - Mario doesn't make any sense at all. Do you think he replaced himself with Sam just to appease the likes of John James and Josie as everyone seems to be walking on egg shells around John James?

Absolutely. I might not like Dave but he did have a point that John james didn't get a single nomination this week, despite being up both previous weeks. And Mario did nominate his 'mate' John James last week in the safety and comfort of the Diary Room and he's nominated Josie 3 times previously

Likewise, I'm not a fan of Rasputin (Dave) but I was pleased that he broached the subject of John James not having even one nomination. Dave also stated that he bucketed who he would have actually nominated in the DR, Josie said she hadn't. So that means Josie doesn't take the nominations seriously - I'm sure BB have a rule on this. Someone suggested previously on here that they all should have nominated in the DR first and then had to pour the buckets over the HMs they had nominated - that would have really put the cat amongst the pigeons and the HMs would have known who was really their so called friends. Jo would most probably have nominated John James in the DR but as Coring dished her with the bucket, Jo decided on a revenge nomination. Maybe BB could consider this sort of idea for the next round of nominations (although I can't imagine there will be many left to do).

I loved the idea of the nasty nominations and it was fun to watch but the HMs did just p!ss about and not take them seriously, or as you said, nominate out of revenge.

It's amazing how things changed after those 4 days. He was the early winner for me and now I've wanted him gone for weeks lol

I also liked Mario when he was the mole and I marveled at how clever he managed to con his HMs win the right to be in the house. But since then he has become a spoilt brat. Not getting his way Ben then giving Ben a hard time because of it. Then getting jealoues because Ben had more singing than he (mario) had. His sulking mood swings are most annoying and it is strange that we can really like a HM at first and half way through really dislike him - and I am very much disliking him, enough to see him out on Friday, if not Jo.
