It's the end of the road for Big Brother as it once was, the all powerful, no nonsense, entity that CONTROLLED everyone who entered the house.

BB11 showed just what a toothless tiger it has now become - when the inmates start issuing ultimatums then you know that they have totally lost control (especially when they agree to the ultimatums).

Was this a deliberate attempt to sabotage the show in view of it being acquired by Ch 5? Any future "Housemates" now know that they don't have to accept anything that "Big Brother" demands in future. Can you imagine ANY new housemate allowing themselves to be banged up in BBs "prison cell" ever again?

McCririck obviously learned the lesson, demanded and got his newspaper! Never would have happened at the beginning.

La Toya's insistence that she be given a private room was just the start of the rot.

BB will never ever be what it used to be, and Ch 5 would do well to reconsider bringing back a parody of a once ground-breaking reality show.

Yes, those are fair points you make .. the programme is not what it used to be .. altho I suppose a lot of it depends on the characters of the people taking part .. not everyone's like JJames .. thank god !

BB has become nothing more than a cash cow designed to separate fools from their money.
It wouldn't be hard to fix the shows problems. Come up with some ground rules and stick to them no matter what perceived effect it will have on ratings.
