Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere released on bail after arrest
Midfielder 'unlikely' to face charges... Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere was released on bail after being arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning. The 18-year-old was arrested following a "fracas" but was "unlikely" to face any charges, according to a statement from his representatives. The statement, issued by the Wasserman Media Group on behalf of Gunners youngster said: "Jack Wilshere was arrested by police in the early hours following a fracas but was released on bail later. "The police have made it very clear that he is an important witness to the incident and played the role of peacemaker and is unlikely to face any charges as a result. Jack has made it very clear he will co-operate fully with the police investigation." It comes jsut hours after Wilshere was involved in Arsenal's 2-1 win over Blackburn, coming on as a substitute with six minutes left. The youngster has been in fine form for Arsene Wenger's team, and finds himself on the fringes of the England senior side - making his debut in the friendly against Hungary earlier this month.

Put it in football thread so i'll put it here too
what a mug. Obviously we dont know the whole story but if I was Englands brightest project, hell if i was just a normal youth player, the last thing i would be doing is going out into the early hours at clubs ffs. Even if he was allegedly a 'peacemaker' in the situation. I'd be putting everything I have into football. |

Why should you have to stay in and do nothing?
He just played against blackburn where he won the game with Arsenal he was most likely celebrating, it hasnt even said he was drinking or anything.. I see no problem with him going out to clubs and everything, if this is true then hes done nothing but good being the peace maker. Hes 18 afterall give him some slack!

Yes hes out on the town, but my mate goes out twice a week sometimes more, and does drink doesnt mean he has.
He just enjoys being sociable and that.. Its nice to go out into town and that sometimes especially when your teams won. Dont see any problem with it..
