Why are they cutting the sound? I know it's music but surely this was written by the production team so it's different?

And it should've been Chantelle singing on her own as well. Two others are just going to ruin it, IMO.

Exactly what I thought. It used to really wind me up, until I realised it was pointless halfway through BB11

I suspect that it's more to do with how easy it is to make copies of sound from a PC.

If they broadcast them singing live on the net it would be on pirate bay within an hour.

They get a couple of million watching the HL's regardless, at a guess i'd say a few thousand would be watching LF at that specific moment.

Going by some of the rubbish that makes it into the charts these days, yes.
