i think its awful what she has been through and wish her all the best, but is b b the place to do it????

Ofcourse it's a sympathy tactic. She just doesn't have Pete to cling on to this time so she's bringing her illness in to it

If it is a sympathy tactic I'm glad Nikki brought it up, because I wasn't aware of her eating disorder from 9, social isolation from 9, etc. Nikki makes a lot more sense physically and emotionally to me now.

Lots of people grow up with illnesses/things wrong with them/spending large parts of their childhood in and out of hospitals (me included), it does not automatically make you act like a spoilt child at nearly 30 years of age. She is just a manipulative, immature woman who is scared of having to face the real world when BB dies and she cant make a living from throwing tantrums anymore.

Her recent 'poor me outbursts' of which there have been two this week, were overly exagerated and fake. There was not one single tear, if she was upset she would be actually crying...its an act, same as everything else she does.

I disagree completely.

Not lots of people! At all! Not in comparison to the amount that haven't. Which is irrelevant anyway, her experience is still the same.

While being obviously very awful, of course going through stuff like that can be done without being traumatized and deeply, deeply effected. But some times that is just completely impossible. And there are so, so many variables that determine that you couldn't possibly know to what level if affected her.
And can't possibly say that she is the way acts the way she does through choice and not as a consequence of her life.

So you genuinely believe that she is the way she is purely because she was in hospital during her childhood?

I know grown adults who survived things like luekemia and cancer as children, who are perfectly well adjusted adults who cant stand Niki trying to use her childhood as a bloody excuse, essentially for being a twat.

This is what annoys me, so many of her 'fans' will lap this bull **** up and go awww bless her, so THATS why she acts like a child all is forgiven Niki.

Yeah, I never said that because she had an eating disorder and was institutionalized from early on, now she's totally explained. Nikki looks and acts like a little girl and is so eccentric it's hard to believe. It's clear there is emotional and physical stunted growth, and an eating disorder helps explain just a little bit of that. Who knows what other circumstances caused what is now Nikki Grahame.

I don't really give two ****s about your hospital problems and how emotionally and physically recovered you are in comparison to Nikki: everyone deals with it differently, you aren't Nikki and I doubt you had an eating disorder, so quit playing expert just because you don't like Nikki. I say this as someone excessively neutral on Nikki.

I dont give two ****s about her hospital problems either, and I find her using it to gain a sympathy vote offensive. A strong willed mature, intelligent adult who had been through what she apparently has would use her experience to show show how she came through it a stronger person and have a desire to help other people overcome similar issues.

But oh no it's all about Niki and what she wants, because she's so special, **** everyone else.

She's a self centred selfish bitch.

I don't think it's tacticle at all.

I think she's much more grown up, is in a much better place with it all now and has a much better understanding of it. And therefore is able to talk about now and wasn't able to in such a way back in BB7.

My friends who suffer/suffered from anorexia would never, ever, ever bring it up on a national TV show regardless of whether it was on their mind or if they were overwhelmed by being brought back in to the house. I think it is difficult for people that haven't suffered an eating disorder to understand how hard it is to overcome it. The fact that had such severe anorexia and has overcome it and has used her fame to help people and raise awareness is such an amazing thing to do. Whatever people might think of her she is an inspiration and i don't believe she would ever use that as a sympathy vote. You can tell she she is just very emotional about it but in a good way. I think she is finally happy and that is lovely too see as she could have died.
