Yep, woohoo for KT!

Quite surprised that Jack Johnson won an award - never heard of him before?

Haven't heard of him? His album's gone double platinum here.. it's fantastic, Tom. You should go check it out.

I have to say, the Brits outdo themselves every year in the terms of how ridiculous the awards ceremony is.

It really is a great album. I think it's actually his second or third album, but this is the one that has made it big.

I'm glad James Blunt won. Bit disappointed that the Kaiser Chiefs won so many; I just can't get into them.

And none of the acts in the Best British Rock Act are actually rock!!!

Oh and apparently there was a very mixed reaction to Coldplay winning best album. There were a lot of people who apparently didn't feel that they should have won, and made their disapproval known - but I guess their boos will be edited out of the programme shown tonight.

You are probably right. They usually cut out the good parts before it's shown on TV.

Thanks for the advice Lance and Ruth! I'll have to look out for his album!

That's surprising to hear about Coldplay! I'm not their biggest fan, yet I understand their appeal, so i didn't expect such a reaction! - Like you said, it's unlikely if that's what happened, that they'd show it, Linda & Ruth!

Apparently Chris Martin said something of the ilk that this would be one of the final times that they would be getting an award together. Perhaps a split is on the cards then?

Have to say I'm a little disappointed that KC didn't win any awards, as she's fab, but I'm also glad that KT won a Brit!

I agree that the Brits get more OTT as the years go by - look out for Kanye West and his 80 female dancers painted in gold, wearing nothing but bikinis! Quite the contrast to James Blunt! Americans clearly don't do things by halves eh!?

I never watch them on the telly, because all the good parts are always cut out first!

I thought Prince was outstanding. The man is an amazing performer. And I'm curious as to how he doesn't look any older than he did when he Purple Rain. Purple Rain is one of my favourite albums, although the movie is pretty dire.

I hate James Blunt! Hes voice is annoying, and Your Beautiful is just so overrated.

KC and KT gave the best performances

Kelly sounded rough, rock chick is not her thang.

I think Prince was the best and coldplay, Jack Johnson and Kanye West were good too.
