Wow, I thought BB8 was as low as this show got. Can't believe you guys hated BB11 more. Is that because BB11 is more fresh in your mind or not?

Nope, out of all the series I've watched, BB11 is by far the worst. Terrible, terrible cast - only a few gems, and even they couldn't be classed as 'BB legends'. No twists either, and full of childish gimmicks like Jedward and housemates coming out of the house to act like performing monkeys. They totally went against the 'no contact with the outside world rule' as well.

BB8 was dire, but it had some entertaining moments. BB11 on the whole was pretty awful...if it wasn't for John James/Sam it would've died.

The thing is, at least BB8 (and BB4 to a better extent than BB11) actually stuck to the concept. i.e., no non-housemates ruining the sense of being isolated and cut off from the outside world, no housemates full on leaving the house... and the stupid music and effects for tasks didn't help BB11 - that just took away from it being a REALITY show.

Yeah, i agree. If there's one thing I hated about BB11 was the contact with the outside world.
I remember laughing in BB7 when they did the ticket twist and Lea was sat there saying "We saw actual real human beings tonight". This year Andrew Stone etc going in was stupid. Not to mention everytime Don't Stop Believing comes on the radio I cringe and have to turn it off.

I wish everyone would not follow BB/Davina and media rubbishing of series 4. It was quite a good series with REAL people, no wannabees, no models, no freaks or psychos. Tasks were good too, even Saturday nights recall? Everyone says 'boring' but look at the rubbish just ended, series 11, half the time the HMs were in bed, so 11 was far more boring than 4. 8 was diabolical. For me the best were 1 to 5, plus 7. 6 was crap.

Yes I agree BB4 gets too much bad press but having normal people in was what made it the social experiment it was in those days. None of the freaks or bitches you get these days. And as for BB11 the housemates were in bed ALL of the time. Worst series ever!

But I did used to enjoy watching live feed on a saturday night during BB4, the reward room would be decorated as something different each time. Still don't see it as a great series really.
Talking of models and wannabes I seem to be getting bad memories of that Tanya and Frederick (?). Although they obviously weren't as bad as Chanelle, Ziggy, Charley etc.
