SEXY Big Brother contestant Orlaith McAllister has added a new string to her bow by representing Belfast in today’s Miss Great Britain finals.

Orlaith, 26, is joined by 50 finalists vying for the crown.

The competition recently ended the upper age limit of 25 for contestants in its 60-year history, which has paved the way for mother and daughter to compete side by side.

Jane Taylor, 35, representing Wigan, will compete with her 16-year-old daughter, Gemma Cunningham, representing Ashton.

The ladies will be judged by a panel of celebrities including Sven Goran Eriksson’s former mistress, Faria Alam, grizzly horseracing commentator, John McCririck and football legend, Teddy Sheringham.

Twelve names will be announced at the grand final tomorrow.

The finalist does not go through to the Miss World competition, which is a separate event, but organisers promise the winner a 12-month schedule of modelling engagements and a part in a Hollywood movie.

Miss Warrington, Danielle Lloyd, is the bookies’ favourite to take the title.

The competition, at London’s Grovsenor House Hotel, is hosted by telly host, Noel Edmonds and GMTV’s Jenni Falconer.
