No matter that they act like senile 12-year-olds on the Today programme website - smoking illegal fags to look tough and cool. No matter that Amis coins truly abominable terms like 'the age of horrorism' and when criticised tells people to 'fuck off'. Surely we all chuckle at the strenuous ennui of his salon drawl. Didn't he once accidentally sneer his face off?

I've never been able to listen to that Torn song.. It is up there with Nights in White SAtin as my most hated I'm afraid! I just CANNOT bear how you can hear her breath between words!!

Hahah.. maybe not quite as bad then! My 4 most hated (off the top of my head) are; Torn, Nights in WHite Satin, I say a Little Prayer for You and Lovely Day by Bill Withers *shudders*

Torn is a great song. I only know her because one of my mates can sing Torn really well, and got me listening to a couple of her songs.
