Breaking Bad is credited as one of the best shows of all time and is the reason why Lost wasn't more successful at award shows the last couple of years, it kept beating it. I've not tried watching it yet because it looks like one of those shows that will take patience to get into (like The Wire) but I'll give it a shot one day. It's got a 4th season on next year, too.

Started another thread without realising there was this one already!

Having watched the first two episodes, I am totally hooked. The time jumps are a bit confusing, but having survived six series of Lost I'm becoming accustomed to this mode of story telling!

you know what, from the very first scene you get into it which is very unusual!

Must be good then, since sponsors in the US are brutal if the show isn't making them money.

I still feel a bit cheated with Lost, because I'm sure that when series 1 first aired, JJ Abrams did an interview where he said there was going to be 7 series! I doubt they could have gone much further with it though.

Can't wait to see the new series starring Terry O'Quinn (and Michael Emerson?).

I'd have loved it to have gone on longer but I think it was the right time to end it, I still think Disney will do something else with it in the future though.

And yeah I hope it's good, O'Quinn and Emerson are great together so it's worth watching just for who's in it.

Yes, I agree.

I love the concept and all the mysteries the show provides. I think this is going to be an exciting journey.

I'm going to give it a week or two more so that I can watch a few back to back if it floats my boat. Good though, yeah?

Just watched the first episode of this that I recorded last night. Wow...it's so...weird. Think I'm hooked though.

But six series?! Christ - I was thinking it was like a four-part series [4 seperate 1 hour episodes] or something...

yeah, it is good right now but I can't see how they're going to drag it out for 6 seasons without it turning to crap. I'm enjoying right now though, so I'll keep going for the minute

There will be about 20 episodes in Season 1, they've already filmed 13 but they got ordered for a full season a couple of weeks back so are working on another few episodes to finish this season off now.

It's not doing great with viewers in the US though so whether it gets picked up for a second season or not I dunno, but if it does then they'll probably plan to end it during that season so the ratings don't get even worse.

Which episode was on last night ? I've been watching those shown in th US and I think I'm five episodes in. I've got another to watch this evening.

I don't know why reports are coming through about ratings dropping, it's truly well on form 5 episodes in, it's just getting better each week.

I've watched the first two episodes, It ain't bad but it's generic. It wants to be Lost, it wants to be Flash Forward, It wants to be Heroes and it wants to be the 4400. I'll keep watching but I can see my interest waning quickly, I've watched this show before.
