If he had remained as a replacement for Louis in Series 4 and beyond? I think it would've been interesting to see, but of course Louis is better.
I think had he stayed Sharon would've got the Groups for the first time ever that series as well. They always lump the new judges with the best category, so Dannii got the Boys, Brian would've probably got the Girls [Sharon's category that year], there's no way he would've got the Over's [Louis's category] and Sharon had the Over's in Series 3 so it would've had to have gone to Simon. Leaving Sharon with the Groups [the only category she never had]. Maybe if he had stayed we would've ended up with a Brian - Dannii - Cheryl - Simon line-up? Funny how things work out... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I see nothing in him... he's supposed to be a choreographer but name me one X Factor performance that has been choreographically amazing.
He's just woolly nonsense, and easily disposable.

No he would have been awful, I didn't like him when he judged on that one episode. I think he judged on a crappy ITV programme 'Grease Is the Word' too and he didn't impress me there.

I remember when they had him briefly as a judge. He was pretty good. I think they got rid of him because he was too much of an honest... sorry, "harsh" critic.

I bet Jack fancies him. That's why he wants him as a judge
I feel your pain Jack.. Brian takes a "backseat" in the X Factor.. while Kyle takes a "backseat" in Neighbours Thing is though.. Kyle from Neighbours is a good actor and deserves to become.. A MAIN CHARACTER!!!!! |

Hell no, Louis is definitely better than he was at the time anyway. I do like Brian as a choreographer though, I just thought I'd start this topic because I think it would've been interesting to see how he would've been as a perma-judge/mentor [not at the expense of Louis though, obviously].
