Rate the performances out of 10.
FY 4/10 - awful, messy and boring Matt: 8/10 - Interesting song choice, pulled it off well. John: 4/10 - forgettable Rebecca 7/10 - Good vocals, boring song. Storm: 5/10 - Decent vocals, horrific performance. Belle Amie: 2/10 - Awful, they didn't project and none of it worked. Very disappointing. Paije: 8/10 - Surprisingly strong, I liked him more then I thought. Diva Fever: 6/10 - 6 for effort. Mary: 8/10 - Very surprising, I thought I was gonna hate her but thatp erformance was good. Cher: 7/10 - It was a good performance. Katie: 6/10 I love her but the song choice was terrible. She made the best of it though. Nicolo: 7/10 - I like him, it was a decent performance. Wagner: 8/10 - For the pure lols, I loved him. He lives literally down the street from me. Aiden: 8/10 - Solid performance, I liked the awkwardness more though. He had a case of psycho eyes throughout it. One Direction: 7/10 - I liked it, the one with short black hair is awful though. Treyc: 8/10 - An all round good performance. |

FYD - 4/10 - good vocals on a very very bad song.
Matt - 6/10 - very good vocals on a bad song. John - 3/10 - yawn inducing. Rebecca - 4/10 - utterly forgettable. Storm - 5/10 - good vocals, bad song, stupid performance Belle Amie - 2/10 - embarrassingly out of tune, bad song. Paije - 7/10 - great choice of song, great vocals, bit of a silly stage movement though Cher - 4/10 - I hate this bitch but she owned the stage. Diva Fever - 6/10 - hilariously bad. Mary - 8/10 - demonstrated what this is. A singing competition. Owned it. Nicolo - 2/10 - awkward, bad vocals, bad song choice. Katie - 5/10 - good vocals, nice song, bit out of her league, stupid stage get-up + costume One Direction - 3/10 - weak vocals, annoyed me because I love that song. Wagner - 9/10 - bonkers. outstanding. **** the system, get him to win. Aiden - 7/10 - eerie, great vocals, interesting song. Treyc - 8/10 - absolutely and irrevocably proved why Cheryl Cole makes the most ****ing absurd decisions.

FY 3/10 - really disappointing because I loved them at bootcamp/judges houses but tonight was all over the place, bad song choice and just meh. Think they could be in trouble.
Matt: 8/10 - Actually loved the song choice, totally unpredictable and showed he isn't a one trick pony. Bit too uncertain and nervous at the start though which made me anxious for him, although he pulled it off in the end. John: 4/10 - Errrmm had actually forgotten about him already, so that says it all really. Nice voice but will be at the bottom. Rebecca: 6/10 - Really love her voice but she's got a loooooong way to go performance wise, has very little stage presence at the moment. Storm: 4/10 - Oh Louis Louis Louis what have you done? Feel sorry for Storm because he has a decent voice, but to me he's just a gimmick rock karaoke type performer and working with Louis is going to do him no favours. Belle Amie: 4/10 - I cringed, really cringed for the first half of the song, but they seemed to pick up confidence towards the end, and if they stay in this week they could do well, think they could be in trouble after tonight though. Paije: 8/10- One of my favourites of the night, really wanted him to make it to the live shows and he proved why he deserved to be there. Diva Fever: 6/10 - I hate to admit it but I actually love them because they make me smile. This years Jedward only with some talent. Mary: 8/10 - Damn she's got a set of lungs on her, thought she did amazingly well tonight, and is up there amongst my favourites. Nicolo: 2/10- One word. CRINGE. Cher: 3/10 - Seriously AWFUL. Her singing voice is weak, she looks awkward when she's dancing and the facial expressions are just too weird. Dressed like a cheap hooker. Different yes (for the X Factor anyway), but not in a good way. Katie: 4/10 Terrible song choice, she didn't sing it that badly but she looked like a Gaga tribute act, original? I think not. Wagner: 9/10 - For pure entertainment, he was the performance of the night. Aiden: 9/10 - Love the song, loved his performance of it, fantastic stage presence, and I liked the whole uber creepy/slightly unhinged vibe. One Direction: 5/10 - Meh, Bieber meets Glee. TreyC: 8/10 - Looked great, sounded great, probably the best female vocalist.

FYD - 4/10 - good vocals, but dull
Matt - 8/10 - risky song choice, but he pulled it off well with great vocals John - 2/10 - extremely dull Rebecca - 4/10 - can hardly remember the performance, to be honest Storm - 5/10 - OTT performance, decent vocals Belle Amie - 4/10 - meh Paije - 6/10 - good but I've heard better from him Cher - 7/10 - amazing stage presence, vocals need a bit of work but they were decent Diva Fever - 6/10 - fun, camp, decent vocals - got to love it Mary - 9/10 - very, very good. Amazing vocals. Nicolo - 6/10 - I love this guy but it was a bit of a let-down. It wasn't awful though Katie - 6/10 - again, love this girl but it was a bit of a let-down. Decent vocals. One Direction 6/10 - again, love this group but I expected more after Judge's Houses. Good vocals though. Wagner - 7/10 - absolutely ****ing hilarious. I'm laughing just thinking about it Aiden - 7/10 - surprisingly good, I still think this guy is seriously dull though - don't understand the love. And his awkwardness is cringeworthy. TreyC - 6/10 - good vocals, bit of a dull performance though |

John and FYD have been dull throughout the entire competition, and were tonight. Decent vocals - but that's it, really. Nothing that stood out at all. I expected to remember Rebecca's performance but surprisingly I can't, and I actually like her. Then you have Mary who isn't really a favourite of mine but she was one of the most memorable performances of the night - simply because she pulled off such amazing vocals. |

FY 5 - They opened the show, so they might have been a bit nervous. I do think they are one of the weaker acts in the show.
Matt: 7 - He showed he is consistant and versatile. John: 8 - I liked him, never really noticed him before. Rebecca: 6 - Disappointed in the song choice, she did it well though. Storm: 7 - It was a bit of a mess, and he doesn't need soo much stuff going on, his voice is good enough. Belle Amie: 4 - I blame Simon for picking a terrible song for them, I really hope they survive the double elimination. Paije: 7 - He shouldn't have needed a wildcard to get in, he's talented. Diva Fever: 3 - It was awful, seemed like a karaoke. Mary: 7 - Meh, I'm a bit bored of her shouty powerful voice already. Cher: 6 - I really wanted her to do well and silence her critics, I don't think she did though. Katie: 7 - She is a star. Nicolo: 5 - I don't think the song suited his voice, or showed off how good it actually is. Wagner: 3 - How the **** did this crazy man make it to the live shows!!! Aiden: 8 - Stunned, I think he is wonderful. One Direction: 6 - These are Simon's fave act that he is mentoring, I liked one or two of them more before they were forced to be a group but I will give them a chance. Treyc: 8 - Great end to a fantastic first live show. |

F.Y.D. - 6/10 I liked the the song and the dancing was pretty good but it wasn't anything special.
Matt - 8/10 Really like his voice and thought he did this song justice. Wasn't his best performance but he seemed much more confident. John - 4/10 Very dull and boring, forgot about him until he was shown in the recap. The choir singers were unnecessary too. Hope he's one of the first out. Rebecca - 5/10 Think she's overrated personally, she has a nice enough voice but the song choice was awful and she moved around the stage so awkwardly. Storm - 5/10 Vocals were pretty good but he annoys me. The performance was all a bit over the top and the falling back into the dancers arms was just strange. Belle Amie - 5/10 Awful song choice, only Hayley Williams can sing that song well. The verses were actually better than the chorus I thought. Cher - 8/10 Really good performance. At first I didn't think she was going to be very good but she surprised me. She made the song her own and I love her whole stage presence. Diva Fever - 6/10 Very camp but fun at the same time. Can't sing well though. Paije - 7/10 Surprisngly good. Not amazing but still good. I liked how he seemed confident performing. Katie - 4/10 Dreadful performance and it's a shame because I was expecting a lot from her. She sang the chorus badly and the choir were louder than her a lot of the time. Bad job of trying to pretend to play the piano too. Mary - 8/10 She sang really well I thought and I actually got goosebumps at one point. Perfect song for her. Nicolo - 3/10 Bad song choice for him and very camp. Felt awkward watching him, he didn't seem to be enjoying himself. One Direction - 3/10 Another bad performance. Zain was awful at his solo. Liam was good but it was like he was the main singer and the others were backing singers. Wagner - 7/10 Fun performance, I like him. Good song choice but he should have put some more 'oomph' into the chorus I though. Aiden - 10/10 My favorite performance of the night. He sang the song great and his awkwardness is a good thing. He would get slated if he seemed cocky. Looks and sounds like a popstar. TreyC - 8/10 Really enjoyed her performance too. She has a fantastic voice and had a great song to sing too. Looking forward to seeing more from her. |

FYD 7 Really don't understand why everyone disliked them, I love them, thought they did really well tonight. Good vocals, great dancing.
Matt 6 Like him but I think he seemed to be rushing through that tonight, screeched a bit too much for me. John 5 Good voice, rubbish song. Rebecca 4 Can't stand her. Irritating girl, irritating voice. Storm 8 Really entertaining, amazing voice, bad outfit. Belle Amie 4 Gutted. Loved them at boot camp, they were a diabolical mess tonight. Paije 9 <3 Amazing, lovely lovely guy, great voice. Great charisma! Diva Fever 3 Awful colourful mess. One guy didn't even sing! Mary 7 Beautiful powerful voice, she looked lovely too. One Direction 5 Stupid boy band babies ruining Coldplay. Cher 5 Blurh. Don't get the hype personally. Rapped good, but that's all she does and make strange faces. Her singing was flat. Katie 2 ****. Nicolo 4 Bland, needed a different song. Wagner 5 Really, really funny. Aiden 10 LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. TreyC 4 Who? Boring person. Boring voice. Heard it all before.

FY 3/10 - Very poor stuff.
Matt: 5/10 - The new sound on the show really does highlight when a person is out of tune, and poor Matt lost it a fair few times. Could be down to nerves though. Wouldn't dismiss him just yet. John: 7/10 - I know it wasn't amazing, but I think you're all being harsh on the lad. He didn't put a foot wrong vocally and it was a nice, if unspectacular performance. Rebecca 4/10 - Awkward, flat and terribly dull. Storm: 5/10 - Everything about it was awful except for the guys voice. I'm willing to give him a second chance on the strength of that alone. Belle Amie: 2/10 - One of, if not the worst performance of the night. And who dressed them?! Paije: 7/10 - Lovely tone to his voice and he carried the song off well Diva Fever: 3/10 - They don't look like real people. Just bad, and not in a good way. Mary: 9/10 - One of the best performances I've ever seen on the show. She should be proud of herself. Cher: 5/10 - I don't get it. Katie: 4/10 It was actually a good song choice considering the flack she's been given, but nah, she doesn't cut it for me. Having said that, there is a quirkiness to her voice... something different, but she'll start to annoy me like Vickers did. Nicolo: 4/10 Can't remember it at all. Wagner: 7/10 - It made me smile and I hope we get more of him next week. Aiden: 8/10 - He surprised me big time tonight with his nervy, fragile and arresting performance. Has pop star written all over him. One Direction: 5/10 - All over the shop, which is a pity cuz they all can sing and probably have the most commercial potential out of them all. Treyc: 7/10 - I never liked that U2 song but there's no denying the girl can sing. Bit dull though. Last edited by setanta; 10-10-2010 at 01:16 AM. |

F.Y.D: 3/10 - Did their best with a naff song choice and gave it their all, but by virtue of being on first I think they'll be in the bottom two/three/whatever goes on tomorrow.
Matt: 6/10 - Good vocals, weird song to choose. I preferred it when Twem sang it at Simon's house, because it suited them better. John: 4/10 - Really enjoyed his vocals, but typical Louis picking a ridiculously out of date song for someone who really needed to come out fighting to impress voters. I really hope he gets through tomorrow and is given another chance to show us what he's capable of. Rebecca: 5/10 - Nice vocals, really didn't show off her talent though and the song choice was stupid and likely to alienate people from voting for her IMO. It was underwhelming, I was expecting something more impressive. Storm: 6/10 - One of my favourites of the night, weirdly. He gave a good vocal, and I actually enjoyed the spectacle on stage, but it totally detracted from his singing to the point where I was too busy gawping at what was going on to actually listen! Belle Amie: 2/10 - Awful. They're all good solo singers but I am failing to see this chemistry that the judges were on about. They don't look right together. They don't work well together and they didn't even harmonise enough for me to gather if they sound good together; crap song choice and crap singing. That Geneva girl was the saving grace of the song for them - worst of the night though. Paije: 7/10 - Really glad he got chosen as Dannii's wild card, good voice and good song choice. Diva Fever: 4/10 - The one doing the lead singing is actually a fairly good singer, and I enjoyed the performance but what was up with what they were wearing!? That's irrelevant though, my main criticism was the fact the other one looked a bit lost and didn't really do much in the way of performing, but overall I enjoyed their performance, it was fun. Mary: 7/10 - Her voice isn't quite powerful enough to deliver that song effectively, but she gave it her all and it showed, she was definitely the best of the night, I hope she goes far in the competition because I agree with the judges, singing should be her day job, not working in a supermarket. I absolutely cannot wait to hear her singing with the big band (if there is still a big band week) because she's going to dominate! Cher: 6/10 - In my opinion, she absolutely shut everyone up (myself included) who said she didn't deserve to be there. I still stand by my opinion that she shouldn't have gotten through because of the not being able to sing thing; but it was a great song choice that showed off her singing abilities (which are actually better than I previously thought) and gave her a chance to rap, which didn't make me cringe this time. Thought she came across as very cocky and arrogant in her mannerisms after she finished the song and during the interview though! Katie: 3/10 - Oh dear. She has a nice voice, but she should have never gone back to try and sing We Are The Champions again. Her voice is too weak to even try pulling it off; she should be singing jazzy numbers, something like Nobody's Fault But Mine (she reminds me of Beth Rowley - her version of it would be something I think Katie could aim for) and the outfit totally distracted me from listening to the vocals, which I'm glad for really, they were rubbish. She can hold a tune at least... Nicolo: 4/10 - Rubbish, he's got the right amount of arrogance to pull off wearing sunglasses while singing, but that wasn't the song to be doing it to. It just seemed a bit degrading for him to be singing Lady GaGa, and nothing about it was particularly unique, but I'm sure he can up his game. Wagner: 5/10 - I LOVE WAGNER!!! I'm gonna be honest and say I didn't like him at all up until Louis told him he wasn't going to be in his top 3 - his reaction was brilliant, just one of 'aw it's okay, I don't mind ' and generally warmed me to him in an instant, so I was thrilled he came back. I don't even know whether to call him a bad singer or not, the whole effect of his performance brought a grin to my face though, so good on him... I really hope he lasts for a while, he's a good novelty. Aiden: 7/10 - He needs to work on the awkwardness, but it contributed to how effective his song choice and vocals were in this case, so that's a worry for next week. He's definitely one of the dark horses for the competition, I don't think anyone really considered him as a potential winner before tonight but I can already imagine him cruising through to the final. Solid vocals! 1 Direction: 5/10 - This was a weird one for me; in parts they sounded really good and made the song really enjoyable (I generally hate Coldplay) and then the performance would just go flat for periods of time, it was bizarre. The guy who was worried about not being able to keep time should have been more worried about the fact he can barely mumble his words! They looked like a proper group though, which is more than can be said for the other groups. Treyc: 7/10 - Flawless vocals, the song choice seemed a bit obvious but she put her own stamp on it and deserved a spot on the show. I was expecting it to have a bit more oomph because it was the last performance of the night and, generally speaking, they tend to save the best 'til last, and don't get me wrong, she was good, I just wasn't really blown away by it. Overall I thought it was a bit of an underwhelming first show; maybe down to the fact there were 16 acts or maybe down to some uninspired song choices but for whatever reason, I didn't really enjoy it that much! FY 5/10 - Pretty meh but i love the guy with the mohawk.
Matt: 8/10 - Suprising good choice of song and he did great as always. John: 4/10 - He seems like a lovely guy but dire song choice and forgettable. Rebecca 7/10 - Great song for her voice, slightly forgettable although i do like her. Storm: 6/10 - Good vocals but way too ott. Belle Amie: 3/10 - SH*T. I am disappoint. Paije: 9/10 - Brilliant, love him. <3 Diva Fever: 6/10 - Amusing and they're adorable. Mary: 8/10 - Brilliant performance, very impressed. Cher: 7.5/10 - Her best so far tbh, good song. Katie: 5/10 - Well at least she sang. Nicolo: 6/10 - Wasn't impressed and he seems like a dickhead. Wagner: 8/10 - LEGEND ETC. what a guy. Aiden: 9.5/10 - Performance of the night, loved the intensity and great vocals. One Direction: 7.5/10 - OH LIAM PAYNE <3 Treyc: 8/10 - Very good.

Storm: 1/10 - oh ffs, yeah yeah it means a lot to him....loser Belle Amie: 5/10 - not great, but i believe they got potential Paije: 6.5/10 lovable boy, great voice, hope he improves Diva Fever: 2/10 only one guy sang ...good luck to em though Mary: 7/10 - wish her voice was just a bit more powerful, wonder if she can do better Cher: 5/10 - 5 points for her dance moves and performance. wheres the voice? Katie: 8/10 - thought i'd hate this girl, loved her voice, song choice was apt Nicolo: 5/10 - the backing dancers did well. Wagner: 1/10 - yeah ok , this years joke act Aiden: 8/10 - nicely sung. awkward though and looked like **** One Direction: 6/10 - was ok, helps that they are eye candy, well zain is Treyc: 7/10 - good voice, nice girl, massive bum |

FYD: 4/10 - Was a bit painful to listen to at parts.
Matt: 6/10 - The start was ouch. He improved near the end though. John: 5/10 - boring and I thought the high note near the end was awful. Rebecca: 6/10 - My favourite act coming into the live shows but she didn't deliver like I hoped she would. Storm: 5/10 - no, just no, was like watching a washed up old man singing in a pub on holiday. Belle Amie: 5/10 - I love them! sadly though it was flat in a lot of parts but they have potential. Paije: 8/10 - very good vocals. Diva Fever: 4.5/10 - the singing was good but the prancing around ruined it, cringe worthy! Mary: 8.5/10 - She suprised me, was very good but I dont think she has the X Factor. Cher: 5/10 - Shes okay, I'm trying to like her but I don't see what's so "wow" about her. Katie: 4/10 - Just don't like her, she seems fake and it puts me off. Nicolo: 4.5/10 - He was alright but I still don't like him. One Direction: 7/10 - Not bad actually, parts were bad but overall quite good. Wagner: 2/10 - why the hell is he there? Louis should have picked Elesha for the wildcard. Aiden: 6.5/10 - The singing was good but his facial expressions were creepy, he scared me with the death glares. Treyc: 9/10 - My favourite of the night, she proved what a idiot Cheryl was not to pick her for the final 12.

FY 4/10 - meh.com
Matt: 9/10 - Goregous voice and performed a different type of song to his style really well John: 6/10- Liked him, although faded into the background as there's a lot better singer than him in the competition. Rebecca: 7/10 - My favourite girl in the competition, thought she was good. Storm: - Let me down big time last night his hair though LOL, what a hero. Belle Amie: 2/10 - Bitches ruined one of my favourite songs! -.- Paije: 8/10 - Amazing! Was really suprised, one of my favourites in last night's show :] Diva Fever: 6/10 - Hilarious xD Mary: 7/10 - Didn't take much notice tbh was on facebook LOL Cher: 2/10 - What the actual ****. Another one of my favourite songs wrecked. Katie: 3/10 - Dreadful, and wth was she wearing Nicolo: 3/10 - Just terrible, and there's something dead annoying about him too :| Wagner: 8/10 - LOLOLOL what a legend <3 Aiden: 8/10 - He looked like he was going to kill someone haha! He was great though :] One Direction: 7/10 - Looked and sounded like a proper little group, Harry and Zain nomnom <3 Treyc: 7/10 - See Mary LOL.

You guys are more generous than me
F.Y.D - I thought they would be more interesting. Where was the dancing? Where was the performance? They cannot rely on their vocals because they simply are not good enough - 2/10 Matt - No matter how out of his comfort zone he is, he’s always going to give a solid vocal performance. Tonight proves that, and it’ll surely only get better from here - 6/10 John - Boring choice of song, pretty average vocals, instantly forgettable. He’s in real danger tonight - 3/10 Rebecca - Oh dear, what a mess. She didn’t even attempt to put her personality through in the performance, she just stood there looking bored - didn’t suit the song choice at all - 3/10 Storm - He’s really not as rock ‘n’ roll as he thinks he is, but still good fun. Decent performance and vocals, I just hope Louis doesn’t make him too gimmicky - 5/10 Belle Amie - It would be an absolute travesty if these girls stay for another week. They are simply terrible. Anyone would think they were a bunch of average singers who were thrown together at the last minute - 1/10 Cher - The star of the show delivered. Vocally not the best, but with her it’s all about the performance and the attitude. The early hype won’t do her chances of winning any good, but it doesn’t matter. She’ll get signed regardless - 7/10 Diva Fever - Jedward V2 were actually not as bad as I expected. Okay vocals and a fun (albeit cringy) performance - 3/10 Paije - Although I still don’t think he should have been awarded the wild card, he gave a good all round performance tonight. Could be interesting to see him develop over the weeks - 6/10 Katie - Proved that she deserved her spot on the live shows with a very solid and memorable performance. I just hope she doesn’t feel the need to be so outrageous every week - 5/10 Mary - Undoubtedly strong vocals and I appreciate that she put the effort into the performance, but the whole act has been done to death. The novelty will wear off soon and she’ll be in danger - 7/10 Nicolo - The image, the performance and the choice of song were just awful. Dannii really dropped a bollock here - he’s much better than this. Hopefully he’ll have a chance to prove so in the weeks to come - 2/10 One Direction - I actually expected more from the mini Biebers. A better song, maybe a bit of a dance routine? Just something that made them stand out a little bit. Not that it matters, 12 year old girls will make sure these guys will stay in the completion for a long time - 3/10 Wagner - He can actually sing, so I don’t think he needs to be made into such a gimmicky act. Louis needs to find the right balance between the two because this was all gimmick, which will lose its appeal after a few weeks (ala Jedward) - 3/10 Aiden - great song choice, best vocal performance of the night and definitely one to watch - 8/10 Treyc - Great voice but so forgettable - 7/10 |
