It makes the competition too open I think - which could be a good thing, but it's essentially building the hopes up of more gullible wannabes.

That is an upside to having 16 but last show was so LONG!!!

I had to take walks and miss some performances for a cup of tea!!!

Well one good thing is that we can still have a few daft, fun acts without compromising too much on the real talent.

No, I think there should be 5 judges/mentors with 3 acts each so that would mean 15 acts, that would also ensure deadlock never occurred either.

The only bit I wish they'd shorten is the VT commenting before the acts sing, A brief introduction to the act is enough, that would cut the running time a lot.

And so would having no adverts lol. They took up about half an hour of Saturdays show. And I agree with having 5 judges with 3 acts each.

No - I quite like the fact that there's 16 acts, the only thing I don't like is that there has to be numerous Double Eliminations as a result. I'd much prefer it if they extended the Live Shows by four weeks so that we could stick with a Single Elimination a week. That'd be much better.

We all know that the OTT, dramatic montages before an act and before the titles are one of the best parts of the show. Peter Dickson - King.

The majority of the ad-breaks on Saturday though were unusually short. Lots of them, but they lasted two minutes at best.

They should have brought in a 5th judge and made a Wildcards group imo, I don't mind the number of acts but I would have liked to see Nicole come in to mentor a group. Would take some of the attention away from Queen Cheryl.

They lasted about 4 minutes each actually. I recorded it and started watching it half an hour in so I could fastforward through the adverts and had caught up by the end.

Some of them did, definitely not all of them though. I come upstairs during the ad breaks to check Facebook/here and I usually get a good four - five minutes. On Saturday I'd come up and then would literally be called back down again, they were that short.
