Don't get me wrong Lady GaGa is good to dance to when drunk or out for the night, but Alanis is a pure goddess when it comes to writing and making music. She has had some amazing songs.

Not sure why there's the need for this comparison, but Alanis is obviously better.
- longevity - songwriting (no need for 'eh eh disco stick eh') - talent - piano, flute, harmonica, songwriting, production, guitar - back-catalogue: songs like You Oughta Know, Eight Easy Steps, Hands Clean, Hand In My Pocket, Ironic, Thank U, Crazy, Uninvited...
