Default Get on with the Double Eliminations please...

Bit gutted they're reverting back to the old format tomorrow. Seems a little messy. We still have two to go to get back on track so let's hope they get the out the way ASAP.

I have a feeling they will leave the remaining two till a couple of weeks before the Final though.

Maybe it is a bit of a fix.. and one of the "chosen" ones is close to the bottom? That is why only 1 will be eliminated this week?

No doubt its to save certain people who have been coming low in the votes.

There's 12 left, isn't there?

They usually have a Final 12...?
So they are on track? LOL

Normally in the third live show there'd be 10 contestants left, but this year there's 12, so they'll need two more double eliminations to catch up

Yes but there's normally twelve in Week 1. We're on Week 3.

In normal years it worked like this:

Week 1 - 12 acts
Week 2 - 11 acts
Week 3 - 10 acts
Week 4 - 09 acts
Week 5 - 08 acts

...and so on. So to reach the usual eight acts by Week 5 there should've been a Double tonight and next week, eliminating four and leaving eight for Week 5.
