They're not great singers. Boy band's are fails. Maybe they could have their pictures taken for Heat magazine or something. The fact Cheryl compared them to the Beatles made me want to hit something.

Sure they were drowned out by the chorus backing track and vocals.... haven't got a clue if they can sing or not. Joke.

It was my fave performance of theirs.
Theyre much better having a lead vocalist. And Cheryl was just saying the girls screaming for them out shopping was like the Beatles. Its just a generic comparison made when a group get screamed at thats all. |

I'll watch it again, but I still think that they're being drowned out by the backing tracks.... and I think it's intentional on Simon's part.

They frailed in comparison to Rachel's version of the song last year. She was good. Too bad they couldn't get the styling and her personality more.
That blonde one from one direction really thinks they're the **** lol.

Remembering Kerry
|
Liam sings okay, he is the best lead vocal for them but they are not blending the way they need to, the harmony is still not good. The one who finished the song with the higher pitch bit, Zain,I think has far too weak a voice, when he sings alone you can't hear him at all. He needs a vocal coach to push the strength of vocal out of him.
A lot of work needed to make this group anywhere near good.Maybe too much work. |

The backing track drowns them out and I think it is an intentional move to cover up the weaknesses in their harmonies. I want to see a stripped back performance with a very minimalist backing track and see how good they really are, because I'm not believing the hype that Simon's building up for them - even if the voting public are.

I wouldn't worry. I can see Wand Erection failing pretty bad when they get their record deal.

It is a fact that watching x factor gradually turns you gay, it depends on how many series you've watched and also if you stay in to watch it live. If you watch it begrudgingly because the girlfriend insists you might just get away with remaining str8 but starting to like a finger up your bum during intimate moments.
