Chantelle \'wanted for Carry On film\'
Quote:
OH MY BABS!
Chantelle is latest Carry On sex bomb
by EMMA SHANKLAND
OOOH, Preston! Big Brother babe Chantelle Houghton is being groomed as a BIG star of the next Carry On movie.
Producers of Carry On London see the blonde bombshell as the natural, cheeky successor to Barbara Windsor.
And viewers will be keen to see Chantelle popup – and out – when the flick hits cinemas next year.
It’s hoped that the 22-year-old Paris Hilton lookalike will appear alongside Little Britain’s Matt Lucas and David Walliams.
And the role will take her bank balance through the million barrier – as she has already amassed £750,000 from lucrative deals since winning the Channel 4 show.
Boost
An insider told the Daily Stay Sunday: “Chantelle will brighten up the screen, she’s such a pretty girl.
“Babs had her laugh and her boobs. Chantelle will no doubt bring a lot of ‘Oh my Gods’ to the set – and her boobs, too, with any luck.
“It’s given the crew a real boost to know she’s getting involved.”
The movie will be the 32nd of the Carry On series. Makers announced plans to bring another saucy script to life in 2003. A string of British stars rushed to sign up in the hope of following in the footsteps of the famous regular cast, who included Jim Dale, Kenneth Williams, Sid James, Joan Sims, Charles Hawtrey and Hattie Jacques.
Ex-EastEnder Danniella Westbrook and Shaun Williamson, who played downtrodden Barry Evans in the BBC1 soap, were all ready to start filming but have since pulled out. Plans were also dogged by bad luck over finance.
But, early this year, the script was given new life by Comic Strip star Peter Richardson and Walliams and Lucas were were asked to help out and also star.
They will give their answer in the next few weeks and it’s believed they are keen to be involved.
Essex girl Chantelle, who found love with fellow Big Brother housemate Preston, 24, is already firmly on side.
Dream
A close pal said: “She is having the absolute time of her life and really has been living the dream, as she promised, since getting out of the house.
“She’s so excited about all the opportunities that have been coming her way but the talk of a Carry On movie is one of the best.
She’s always been a fan. “As people saw in the house, she loves cheeky humour, has a dirty laugh that could rival Barbara’s and certainly has the looks for film.
“She’s looking at it as another great experience that could open a few more doors.
“The chance of working with two of the funniest men ever is brilliant.”
The last Carry On film, Carry On Columbus, flopped in 1992. It starred Jim Dale with Rik Mayall and newcomer Julian Clary.
Windsor, 68, who now plays Peggy Mitchell in EastEnders, made her mark in nine of the films.
