Or is she just gonna land right back in the bottom 2 next week?
I dont care what people say, the girl has an unique voice and can sing and perform really well, whats getting to people is that they find her annoying. I cant see why anymore, she clearly shows that she works her socks off and wants this bad, I think the problem is that shes being given too much publicity compared to others and are just getting fed up of her therefore... then the whole surviving the sing off week after week is continuing the hype about her and getting people more annoyed, when strictly this isnt her fault. But she carries on fighting, doesnt let bad critism in the papers and booing get her down and doesnt complain about it, which is really respectful and I wonder if people will start to like this about her and chuck a vote her way...? I think not but its a shame.

She can outstay Wagner and Paije
It will be almost impossible for her after that though

Nah, it's never going to happen unfortunately. She's very gracious in defeat I believe though. The only moment where she's really begun to complain was last week where she said 'sod it', other than that she's just come back every week fighting and I think it's outstanding how she's managing to cope with all the bad press. Well, at least try and pretend that she's coping - I imagine inside it's awful.
She's great though - nice style to her voice [as the sing-off tonight showed], fantastic stage presence and personality and the perfect image. |

No turn around but maybe th loss of the likely few votes that had her just above Aiden tonight.
I think the British decent attitude of fair play will take over next week hopefully and they will have her in the bottom 2 again, clearly the Wagner campaign is keeping him in and also clearly Paije got more votes than her this week again too. I am sad tonight, I liked Aiden a lot but she has been given loads of chances,he didn't even get one despite her being there in the bottom 2 for 4 times in 6 weeks. Decent people hate unfairness and they also don't normally agree that someone who has had no second chances should not get one over someone who has already had 3 second chances. Hopefully she will be there in the bottom 2 again or 3,even if its a double eviction, that she will be last in the votes this time and deservedly get thrown out.'at last'. |

It is possible. Now we are half way through, the original faves of the show start to decline in popularity (as has been proved in EVERY other year) and new faves emerge.

i dont think she can turn around enough people to keep her out of the bottom 2
she wasnt liked 3 weeks ago but after last week's debacle and this week's 'shock' i just cannot see any place for her out of the bottom 2. She certainly wont be liked any more now that aiden has gone and people's patience is wearing thin so like Jordan, there will be a few turning for her but i think those turning against her will far outway the ones in support |

Rachel Adedeji bounced from two bottom two appearances in a row to coming top of the votes (and then out the following week) - we should take each week as it comes, it's still very unpredictable. Katie is still the only act to have appeared in the bottom two out of the remaining 8 acts; if it's a bottom two next week I could easily envisage her surviving and the bottom two being Paije/Mary/Wagner; and who knows how the judges would vote if it was any combination of those three? Say what you like about Wagner, but he's pulling in just as many headlines as Katie. I think it's a four horse race between Cher, Rebecca, Matt and One Direction, it's hard to tell who will drop at the final hurdle; and it's also hard to gauge popularity for Paije, Mary and Wagner because none of the 7 have appeared in the bottom two before - but those three seem like the weaker links. I'm pleased for Katie - it's a travesty she's still in the competition, but she deserved to stay over Aiden tonight.

The problem is that Katie doesn't improve from 'very average mediocre' and is at best the 'understudy' who manages to fill in the role of an absent singer/performer in a mediocre play.
Katie is good enough to front some Top 40 cover band that plays the club circuit though not necessarily top clubs. She is very mediocre. Not 'horrible' but nothing to enjoy or find interesting either. Can she carry on? I think so. Depends if the public decides they had enough of Wagner or not. (probably not quite yet). Then it depends if people come to their senses and realize that Boy Band is just terrible and wasting space. Then it depends on Paige who is not the greatest singer but does have a likability factor and improves just a little bit each time. So really.. it is possible she could hang around for a few more weeks! Fortunately for her she still had Song-Abuser Aiden against her last night. As boring and mediocre as she may be - she doesn't actually shlt on music like that disaster did. So she 'won', but, in this case 'winning' was something like 'staying because some vandal got disqualified' instead. |

Surely she cant turn it around. Its gone too far and there's too much hate for her.
I have to wonder, why the judges dont just put her outof her misery. Each week they applaud her bounce-back-ability but every week she's in the bottom two having a breakdown during the final judges vote. If people feel sorry for her then surely she needs to leave the competition for her own good? We all know she wont do that so we have to ask what is going on? and thus the conspiracy theories begin. Its clear she's getting an easy ride and I think its wrong to say the Wagner campaign will be detrimental to any of the contestants. I think - and I only speak for my myself - that people want to get back at the show and in particular Simon and Cheryl. This series is a joke and has been from the start. Something has got to give and I hope the show can come back better and fairer next year.

Well I really loved her bottom two performance last night but I still don't think she'll manage to be safe next sunday, she might end up being second bottom in the vote again and might make it if the judges take it to deadlock again.

Her sing off performance was so good I think there is reason to believe in her again. Just hope Cheryl chooses something similar for the Saturday performance, because Saturday Night's alright for fighting was a disaster. On the plus side it shows she must have loyal fans when the Saturday performance won her through compared to Aiden's middling effort which flopped with the fans. |
