Default whats everyones favourite method of killing ants?

what method of killing ants is your choice of preference?
.. mine is getting a kettle of boiling water, and pouring it down thier central stairwell., thus killing thousands in one hit. Any remaining stragglers can be picked off one by one with a claw hammer.

Well I see we have now ran out of anything normal at all to talk about and have had to start talking about things like killing ants

When I was a child I liked to put lighter fuel on them and then use the magnifying glass!!! but of course as a responsible adult I would never consider doing anything so cruel

When I was younger I just used to squash them i think, although i never used it, the magnifying glass is probably the best technique, with hot water a close second. But I wouldnt do it now inless I was camping near a nest of them and they might crawl all over me and bite me.
