Default Cher was in the sing off for 4 reasons!!!
1. Wagner VOTES (Obviously)
2. WANDERECTION VOTES / KATIE SYMPATHY VOTES (Yuck!)
3. Her personality stinks! She is a CHAV! Like I said! My 68 year old mother does not read the papers but instantly hated her! Says she is a CHAV!
4. MARY VOTES! (I am surprised WHY Wagner gets the blame when this BIATCH keeps getting through! SHE CANNOT SING! WHY IS THIS!)
5. Paije got more votes than her. (That is an ASSUMPTION however )

I *think* many cher fans are katie fans too, but like cher more, if that makes sense.

But they saw cher as safe this week so gave katie their votes to keep her from bottom...

My 47 year old mother and my 47 year old rather instantly took to her and they both hate rap.

Just because she is a sweet talented girl.

There is no doubt in my mind that X-Factor most definitely wants and still wants (not as much) a Katie versus Cher story to continue.
It translates into the best cash-injection of voting when dysfunctional teens have vote wars.
Maybe the problem is that they are not different enough. Their demos can't quite decide what side to fall on. Chavs = Cher versus Harry Potter/Lady Gagaites = Katie??

So as someone here mentioned - I think that big powerful voting block were probably splitting/spreading votes around.
They thought Cher might be safe enough and dumped their cash on at-risk Katie.
Something like that happened.

Very glad that the arrogant little chav was in the bottom 2 - she needed a reality check, with everyone stuck firmly up her bony arse. She thinks she has it in the bag, so maybe that little shock will motivate her to display any talent she might have - so far I've seen no evidence she has any - she crucified "Imagine". Anyone can rap, but few can sing.

Katie and Cher may be vying for the same votes. Seem to mainly have the same fans in common. With one eliminated the other would probably have a clear run to the final.

Guess the Katie and Chers fans will have to put twice the number of votes in. Love to see them both in the final.

Cher's dress sense on sunday was alright for once, not dressed like some common chav.
I dont think Cher can sing she goes off tune alot, her rapping is crap compared to rappers in the uk that could be on there. She thinks she is a mini cheryl and is so far up her own bum she thinks she has this in the bag, because none of the judges have said anything bad about her performances.

You can still be a fan without voting :/ It's just like if they did a really good performance [which Cher's was] then you just think they're gonna be safe, which then people think there's no need to vote, because one vote won't make a difference.
