Dennis Rodman shocked a magazine when he apparently asked for money to take part in a charity photo shoot.
Women's mag Cosmopolitan has previously recruited stars including Lenny Kravitz and Eminem for its fundraising series of risqué centerfolds. They thought they had the Celebrity Big Brother star on board to raise money for a cancer charity as well – until he is said to have asked for payment of $13,500. "We approached him about posing for us as part of the Everyman Campaign and he said he would be happy to do so,” a spokesman explained. “But there was a snag - he was demanding $13,500 for his trouble. “So he was told in no uncertain terms he would not be required. Some celebrities just do not understand the meaning of charity." |

What a total prat, i think it is terrible that anyone should to be paid for charity work. Does he not know what CHARITY means.
In my opinion, it is for the everyman foundation and as man himself (obviously) he should do it as he might contract the discease himself (god forbid). I think celebs these days think the world owes them a favour, and that they should get paid for everything. At the end of the day, they were no-bodys just like us. |
