Researchers dressed in panda costumes check the body temperature of a cub at the Hetaoping Research and Conservation Centre for the Giant Panda in Wolong, Sichuan province, China.



The four-month-old cub is the first in the centre to be trained for reintroduction into the wild.



The researchers wear panda costumes to ensure that the cub's environment is devoid of human influence.



The centre monitors the pandas with hidden cameras.
