Default Kratos is in the PS3 Version of the new Mortal Kombat

Quote:
Kratos is to appear as a playable character in the PlayStation 3 version of Mortal Kombat.

The God Of War protagonist will have his own fatalities, combat movies and a themed combat area, according to Official PlayStation Magazine (via StickSkills).

Director and lead designer of the original God Of War David Jaffe told followers on Twitter that he was pleased with the announcement.

"LOVE that Kratos is in the new MK. So bummed he's not in the story portion. Heard about it from Ed [Boon] at E3 this year and had to keep super mum on it but man, ****ing LOVE it. He totally fits in that world."

Mortal Kombat will be available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in early 2011.
I'm guessing the Xbox version will get an exclusive character too, I'm guessing Master Chief. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't get anything though considering thing are pointing to this MK favouring the PS3 due to it's presence at it's E3 show and the rumours that they are remaking the first 3 games for it.
