Probably a joint contract. Olly was signed the day after the final in a joint one with Simon's label and Epic.

Ahh okay, good on her then! Although I think it's a bit silly to rush straight into a record deal with will.i.am, she should wait a bit to see what other offers come her way first. I think she'll be more successful than Matt Cardle at any rate.

Over a million fans on Facebook. Diana Vickers was similar with her popularity and recently had a #1 album and single.

I doubt there's anyone else beating a path to her door, so if she has any sense she'll grab it and exploit her limited appeal for a few months tills she fades into obscurity. No one else would want to sign her? Clearly Simon would, he's showed that he would want to many of times. Many of already established artists have said they'd like to work with her, which would alert many record labels of wanting to sign her because they know she would be in demand. And there is nothing wrong with wanting to get in Cheryl's pants.

And how would you know she isn't a songwriter? You haven't worked with her like he has.

Vocally Fergie is weak, I don't know how anyone can argue with that. Cher is a better singer, and rapper, I think.

Syco could easily agree to release her out of that deal if she signs to another record label.

Usually that's the case but I think it depends on Simon's mood, I doubt he would stand in Chers way at all so it will likely be done quickly.

I did really enjoy her first performance tonight though, I have to admit and be fair.

It's very easy to change perspective, all she needs is one good single and a bit of promotion and she'll do well. Public opinion is malleable and wishy washy, it never stays the same.

I reckon simon will snap her up if he can, although like I think Locke said a co deal could be in place.

- There is a reason Simon an Co pretend she is awesome week after week. Not because she can sing or dance or perform live on stage but because she is a perfect recording pop star.
Not necessarily for anything serious. For selling some mobile phones. Yes, a sort of UK chavvy-teen 'Black eyed Peas' sort of single. A TV advert but then a superb 'viral video' sort of advertising campaign.
For 1 year.
After that she is past the attention span. However, she is an actress and has plenty of time on her side.

Anyone who thinks Will.i.am has just signed her to do the next big thing.. uhh.. well sorry.

This is the kind of fked up mentality X factor fans have. So what if she has one million 'FANS' on facebook. Chances are, a lot of them went on that page to slag her off and say they don't like her.
