They did sing. At the beginning of the show. Albeit briefly. As for the lines being open overnight - money

It's kinda unfair.
Less time for Cher's fans to vote for her tonight cos she went last. Because loads of people would want to see the performances before they voted. I still think she'd have gone anyway, even if she was first on. But it's still unfair. |

What I found shocking was them showing Matt and Rebecca's numbers first, then One Direction and Cher. Unfair advantage right from the off.

I don't get why people say this, if Cher fans were gonna vote for her then there's no reason they couldn't have done it without seeing her perform if they had already planned to vote for her.
