I'd be surprised if it really was the end, maybe it is for Shephard but I can see them making other games in the franchises. I've still to play ME2, I think i'm gonna buy it in the sales though after christmas.

I'm glad Thane, Miranda and Garrus are definitely back although I expected it. I reckon all of the characters from both ME games will be recruitable in this game (as long as they're alive obviously).

I really hope they find a good alternative to resource gathering. Driving around in the Mako in ME1 was the opposite of fun. Launching probes was better than driving around and the planetary missions were far better than driving to some random prefab structure in the middle of terrain. However, launching probes as also really boring.

Also in terms of items, I'd like to have a happy medium between ME1's system and ME2's. I liked being able to upgrade weapons and armor by finding or buying the upgrades, but I also liked being able to select weapons bonuses as skills.
