Rebecca.. yes she had a good jazzy type voice.

However most of her performances on the X Factor left me bored apart from the 1 or 2 upbeat songs she did!

Leona moved more than Rebecca. I remember when Leona did a bit of dancing while singing Lady Marmalade song.

I couldn't real "connect" with Rebecca. Nice girl but boring.

Just because she didn't dance around like a performing monkey didn't she was boring, she was a whole lot more versatile then the creature that eventually won it.

i agree with you op as i never felt like leona was singing the same song every week,the only time i thought rebecca didnt sound the same was with the annie lennox song.

Lets face this year's crew were pants generally speakin.Matt didnt have much to beat-Rebecca would just have been another winner off the Leona Lewis production line-dullsville.One Direction-obviously Cowells desperate attempt to over-hype them failed as they picked up a pathetic 12% of the vote.Had the audacity to call them the best pop band in Britian after 2 performances!

rebecca grew on me over time....didn't like her voice at all at first...my favorites of hers was that one that was like a clubbing track and the one where she was on the high up podium thing with four homosexuals turning it around

I actually thought the last 4 were the four that most people would have predicted would get there, give or take a Mary or a Katie 'wildcard'.
The final didn't quite hit the heights I was expecting. But then looking at previous last 4's I still think that, bias apart, this was probabaly the best. Love Leona, but she beat Ray Quinn for goodness sake!! Only the Alexandra final compared, and she had that useless Irish kid behind her in third
As for Rebecca, she can learn to prance a bit. BUT You can't teach someone who can't sing to sing!!

Leona has had a lot more time to get better though it's been a few years now.. maybe Rebecca will improve too

Good singer with the jazzy voice, lovely girl but if she wants to shoot a musc video will have to at least learn some choreography and move, she just seemed to lack some charisma but didn't bore the hell out of me like Leona but then again I couldn't stand her anyway.

Not every artist has to be a dazzling personality. If their voices and their music touch you or move you in a certain way then that is enough.

Rebecca has a voice that I would want to listen to on certain downlow occasions. Like Sade. But she also as a voice that could sound great on dance records. Her voice is her personality as far as her music goes.

There are tons of very successful artists that have dull personalities.

The standard was very poor this year - shown by One Direction and Cher making the last 4.

I think it's been a fairly poor 2010 for reality tele - Big Brother was awful, X-factor and I'm a Celeb didn't live up to expectations for me.

I've seen Leona in concert and she is fab!

But Rebecca did 3 uptempo songs on xf alone, and there is a dance track of hers on google that she did before xf......no, this is just a ruse to get people to dismiss a real talent, which was SOOOOOO obvious at her first audition. It ain't gonna work.....so change the record.

Give her a chance, likelihood she'll be very successful in the US because they love acts like; Amy, Adele & Duffy, which is the niche she fits into
