Wink dose getting to work take you longer then the Joe ?

BBC want your detailed journey to work

on London news they want to discover,
so the Joe will say his work journey and no cover.
i walk up a hill, its my first heart beat,
down a slope and into the tube to guarantee a seat.
northern line heading in and out at the cross,
pick up the Victoria line, while i wait i floss.
from the cross i head via Brixton,
and onto a bus to new addington.
from there i get the good old over ground,
to the embankment, back to Central London bound.
back and out and onto the road for a walk,
10 mile stretch, no time for talk.
at my destination, 6 hours later,
all along i was only 30 mins away, travel and tourism really do need a translator.

(hope everyone enjoys my joke poem. they were talking about it on the bbc today and wanted to no how long it takes you to work, i am just sad i can not use a plan in my poem lol have a great day everyone x)

Poor you Joe what a long old trip
Lucky for me, mines a bit of a snip
my car is snuggled right in the drive
behind the wheel and at work in five (minutes)

Joe does it really take you 6 hours to get to work?

One may need a translator to understand your terrible spelling and grammar.

Most days I get out of bed scratch my bollocks, walk downstairs make a coffee and wander into my office. Sometimes it takes me ages.

Joe, you sound like you are a travelling salesman.

My commute is just less than one hour (one way) from door to door.

In the morning, overground and Piccadilly Line.
In the evening, walking to Kings Cross and overground train.

If im working late night i can get home (in the car) in 4 minutes, 6 if i dont drive fast.

But wednesday and fridays i have to park at my nans and walk because its a customer car park, so like 3 - 4 minute drive + an 8 - 10 minute walk.

Takes me about 30 minutes to get to work. Need to walk to the bus stop, arriving early because the bus service in Cornwall is crap and if you miss a bis you've got an hour to wait for the next one. Then after waiting for the bus a ten minute trip into town. Takes about 25/30 minutes depending on whether the bus is early or not.

What do you mean, Joe?
Are you working actually in the station or that snooker room or any shop around there?
(you do not need to answer, Joe.)

I've got a car, it's great but don't get it confused, in the second biggest city of France (Marseilles), the traffic is terrible because they are renovating the roads and the most used axis of circulation and the traffic jams are horrendous. It's a nightmare.
To go to Uni every morning, I should spend 20 minutes in my car. I'm currently at 50 to 1h.
That's why I've decided to take the tube until whatever is going on is over.
