Default Helen wants to go back to hairdressing

(Story from Ananova)

Don't know how much truth there is in this, but ..............

Helen Adams wants to go back to hairdressing

Former Big Brother housemate Helen Adams wants to return to hairdressing.

Helen worked at a salon in Newport before entering the house last year but since leaving she has been working in the media.

Now she says she would like to go back to hairdressing part-time.

According to the Daily Express, she has been making enquiries about working at Trevor Sorbie's salon in London. But a spokeswoman for Sorbie said they were unable to help her as they didn't have any part-time positions available.

Helen's spokeswoman told the paper: "She really misses cutting people's hair. Helen is currently considering a couple of television offers but is keen to return to hairdressing as well".

So there you are ...................... 'according to the Daily Express'.

I know she loves her hairdressing but she would SO be missed from our TV screens. She's a breath of fresh air.

So let's hope she gives serious consideration to the TV offers as well. :helen:

I read the full article in the Daily Express today and apparently the main thing she needs to do to get back into hairdressing is update her skills.

Apparently hairdressing in South Wales doesn't require the same sort of skill-set as hairdressing in central London. Which I can well believe! Blue rinses and perms vs modern, sassy cuts!

The article suggested she might go to a branch of Toni and Guy to update her skills and then stood a chance of doing the type of A-list hairdressing needed in Trevor Sorbie's.

It also said that she was considering both hairdressing AND further media work, and hadn't ruled out either at the moment. So it sounds as if she is looking at her options and her agent has got a good story into the press to raise her profile a bit at the moment.

Good luck Helen! :helen:

The media world is so full of actors and media types "resting" maybe there is not much out there.

A mortgage has to be paid for, and perhaps she needs to return to hairdressing to prove to the lender that she has a regular income and show Paul she is pulling her weight financialy

Are Paul & Helen ever going to get married and have little Paul & Helens . Things seem to have stalled

If they ever do get married I hope they make the announcements in stages. Engagement first and sell the story. Wedding and sell the story. Honymoon and sell the story..... Just joking......

My point being. Make as much out of the press as they can.....After the treatment they had last year they deserve it...
