Jessie J has been announced as the winner of the Critics' Choice Award at next year's Brit Awards.
The Essex-born singer beat James Blake and The Vaccines to the award, with the other nominees coming second and third respectively.
Jessie J, real name Jessica Cornish, seemed rather pleased with the result, writing on her Twitter page, Twitter.com/jessiejofficial: "I WON!!! Omg omg omg omg omg."
The musican newcomer award, which is in its fourth year, is voted for by a panel of music industry and media experts. Jessie J follows in the footsteps of Ellie Goulding, Florence And The Machine and Adele in winning.
The Brit Awards take place on February 15 next year.

Didn't he once accidentally sneer his face off?
