It's not possible. You can get delirious and of course when you are that pissed there is nothing stopping you from exaggerating things and saying what you think you see but that's not the same as tripping.

People used to claim Absinthe would make you trip because it contained Wormwood and developed this reputation amongst arsists and writers before it was banned but that is complete B.S. too.

Yeah It got the tag of green fairy because of it's colour. Mind you most commercial Absinthe nowdays is far off in terms of the old stuffs strength.

No alcoholic beverage will make you trip. It's just the same old wank, unfounded hearsay people like to tell one another.
