I have something to say...
Dongles are good as a last resort to access the internet where there's no landlines. Also good for use out and about. However.. 1. they use the same signals as mobile phones so signal strength can vary area to area...just like with mobiles. 2. video streaming can be very stop/start because of weak signal strength. Not great for video streaming generally at all. Frustrating usually. 3. downloading files can be very slow. And if youre on a limited allowance both downloading and video streaming can use up a lot of MBs. But for general surfing they are usually good enough...possibly slow at certain times of day depending on area. I used a PAYG one that was £15/30 days/3gb limit. Which is enough for a good few hours a day surfing. Thankfully, I didnt need it for long because Im a downloadaholic and it was killing me. you say its £30 for 3 months unlimited? Wow. dont think Ive seen unlimited on a dongle before. Theyre usually very restricted. Whats the catch? |
