Here's to the people who dared to insult Islam getting all the blame.

Watch this space.

I normally hate his kind, but I resent somebody else being made responsible for the actions of these religious fanatics. It's like blaming Salman Rushdie for the murders that happened during the Satanic Verses furore.

And honestly... jail? I thought America was the land of free speech.

UN should go go in hard and heavy into Mazar i Sharaif and ensure all those involved in the murders are handed over and punished, according to Muslim Law. Those murdered had nothing to do with the Koran burning, therefore killing them wasnt in line with their laws.

I also think the Norwegians, Swedish, Nepalese and Romanian governments should issue international arrest warrants for the two 'christian' preachers involved on the grounds of inciting hatred and causing the deaths.

Lets see if the yanks are keen to apply their well known sense of justice. After all Jones was warned last year that actions like these would trigger violence elsewhere.

Quote:
"A copy of the Koran was burned in front of a crowd of 30 people outside his church. Beforehand, he held a bizarre mock trial and execution of the Holy Book before fellow pastor Wayne Sapp doused it in gasoline and set fire to it."
Like thats not inflammatory? No doubt they will of course fail to see the cause and effect and simply blame Muslims. After all they are god fearing law abiding tolerant christians aint they?

I doubt the two christian preachers will feel any guilt or remorse about the end result.

Apparently the Afghan Police have arrested about 20 people involved in the riot and murders, including a militant who was the "mastermind" behind it.

If the Nepalese guards were Ghurkas of the British Army, what will Cameron do and say? After all he was the one saying he wanted to reinforce the military covenant.

Because he has an election next year, and if truth be told there is a very strong anti Islam feeling in the US.

If he criticises those christian pastors, in the eyes of christian voters he will be seen to be siding with the Muslims and will lose the christian vote.

Very true but if there is a bad tempered dog outside your garden running loose, you dont poke it with sticks through the fence, do you? You know someone will get bit.

He can't do that. It would be against the 1st Amendment.
