STABBED schoolgirl Chloe West has spoken for the first time since her ordeal — saying she feels like she has been HEADBANGING.
Pretty Chloe, 14, needed plastic surgery after being attacked with a kitchen knife outside the gates of her secondary school. She left hospital last night as her 18-year-old ex-boyfriend was charged with attempted murder. Today, she posted on Facebook: "Hey peoples x I'm out now. Feel like I've been headbanging for ages but I'm good now. "Thanks to everyone who has been by me. I love you all. xxxxx" Chloe suffered wounds to her upper body and face. Sam Tomlinson, the son of a teacher, will appear before magistrates in Dudley, West Midlands, tomorrow morning. He faces a further charge of wounding another pupil. Charged ... Sam Tomlinson CATERS Chloe met Tomlinson at Debdale Riding School in Kidderminster, Worcs, where she was pictured posing happily with a horse. Tomlinson was a stable lad and the pair dated for a while. News of the charges came after Chloe's parents thanked those who came to her aid outside Ridgewood High, Stourbridge, at about 8.40am on Friday. Nigel and Rosemary West, who live with their daughter less than a mile from the school, said she was making a good recovery. In a statement issued by Birmingham Children's Hospital, the teenager's father said: "We would like to thank all students, parents and teachers who helped Chloe at the scene. "We do not know the names of all those who helped but we look forward to meeting them as soon as we can. "We'd also like to thank the emergency services who responded so quickly and gave Chloe the very best of care, both at the scene and at the hospital." He added: "The surgeons have done a remarkable job of closing Chloe's wounds and are confident of a good recovery. "However, whilst the physical scars may fade, the memories of the day's events will remain forever." The school, a specialist science college, was closed in the aftermath of the incident but will reopen as normal tomorrow. Source: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...-good-now.html Poor girl. Glad she is getting better. I wonder how long the lad will be sentenced for? |
