KATE MOSS is dating another heroin and crack addict, rising telly star RUSSELL BRAND.

And ex PETE DOHERTY will not be impressed — Brand is a great mate of CARL BARAT, who forced junkie Pete out of THE LIBERTINES.

But unlike the troubled muso, Brand has kicked his habit.

Supermodel Kate, 32, spent the night with Russell on Tuesday and pals say they are smitten.
As well as being a TV host, Russell is a quality stand-up comic and Kate and SADIE FROST went to see his routine at a tiny North London pub.

Onlookers were amazed to see mega-famous Moss supping on a drink and laughing at Brand’s performance.

Then the trio got a cab to Annabels nightclub. Russell was helping host a charity auction — where Kate was pictured in yesterday’s Bizarre snogging JEMIMA KHAN.

The trio hung out in the Buddha Bar before going to the comic’s Hampstead home.

A source said: “She finds Russell hilarious and he has the sort of rock star looks she’s attracted to.

“But they have deeper things in common. He is recovering from drugs, booze and sex addiction problems. Kate has been through her cocaine scandal and is getting over junkie Pete. So they have a lot to talk about.

“They spent the night together and have been on the phone since. All Kate’s friends think he is the perfect man for her.

“She’s found someone who also used to go wild and remains successful but is trying to live a clean life.”

The Essex comic landed a job on MTV in 2001. But his drug-addled antics led to him being fired months later.

The final straw came when he introduced KYLIE MINOGUE to his dealer then, shortly after 9/11, turned up to the office dressed as Osama Bin Laden.

But earlier this year he made a triumphant return to MTV after completing a spell in rehab.

He now fronts their 1 Leicester Square show and has interviewed TOM CRUISE for it.

The busy lad also presents Big Brother spin-off Big Mouth on E4 and a radio show on BBC 6 Music.

Kate hit lingerie store Agent Provocateur yesterday, there may soon be a tough test of Russell’s recovery from sex addiction.

THERE'S still plenty of loving going around on promiscuous Primrose Hill. I can reveal Kate Moss' "new" bloke, rising telly star Russell Brand, has now turned his attentions to her best mate - Sadie Frost!

The pair have become incredibly close and I'm told Brand, 30, is totally smitten with Jude Law's 40-year-old ex-wife. My spy tells me: "Brand just can't keep away from Sadie. And she's just loving all the attention. Kate Moss had a fling with Brand - but he's now getting to know Sadie a little better. Kate is a free spirit and cool with that. They're one big happy family."

And Big Brother's Big Mouth host Brand is certainly not complaining. I hear he's a game boy and more than happy to hang out with fun-loving Sadie and Kate, 32. Last week the girls went to see his stand-up show together at a tiny North London pub. Afterwards, the trio got a cab to Annabel's nightclub where Russell was helping host a charity auction. The TV funnyman was cheered on by Sadie, while Kate snogged Jemima Khan. The threesome then went to the Funky Buddha bar before all going back to the comic's Hampstead home.
