Jersey Shore stars Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, Jenni 'JWoww' Farley and Pauly 'Pauly D' Delvecchio will star in their own spinoff shows, it has been confirmed.

Snooki and JWoww will appear together in an untitled reality show, while DJ Pauly D will front his own solo series for the network.

"We're excited to put the spotlight on their lives away from the shore as they pursue their individual passions, careers and relationships. Both series are fun, fresh ways for us to evolve what is an already successful brand for us," said Chris Linn, the executive VP of programming/head of production at MTV.

Rumours that Snooki and JWoww were planning a spinoff show surfaced earlier this year when they were allegedly spotted filming a pilot together in New York City, while Pauly D is thought to have begun working on his show, which documents his DJ work, last year.

Both shows are scheduled to begin production later this year with a planned air date of 2012, according to MTV.

Commenting on the announcement on Twitter, Snooki wrote: "So I can FINALLY Announce..I Got My Own Spinoff! #SnookiRevolution (sic)," while Pauly D said: "Imma Be On @MTV Momma !!!!!!!"

The third season of Jersey Shore finished on MTV last month. The cast are currently preparing to fly to Italy to film the fourth run, which is slated to air later this year.

Snooki and J Wow's show will be boring, and so will Pauly's if it's just about him being a DJ.

Pauly, Mike and Vinny should have their own show together.
