Default Ratings

I know it's a long way away..
but Guess The Ratings for the re-launch on C5.

Remember, it's going to be a Celebrity series & celebrity series rated higher on C4.

My personal guess is a peak of 8 million.

Another point, alot of people on the forums & twitter are saying they are willing to give it another ago because it's not on Channel 4. Could this help the ratings?

I agree. I also know a lot of people who stopped watching it but are now planning, to do as you point out, watch it out of interest to see what Channel 5 do with it.

Even by BB's standard of ratings at it's peak, 8 million is a ridiculous guestimate, the most watched episode ever got 10 million.

It'll get around 3 and a half million for the launch, 3 mill for the finale, 2 mill for CBB and 1.6/1.7 mill for the main series probably.

5/6 million at most for the CBB launch, series average of 3-5 million depending on press coverage and how well the launch is recieved.

BB12 could do well with the golden ticket thing. It could generate the same sort of hype as BB7

It couldn't even manage those ratings on C4 post BB7 (CBB5 was flopping pre-race row).

I've not seen one post in this thread that predicts below what is reasonable to expect and what C5 will be relatively happy with.

I'm hopeful the press coverage and the curiousity to see what Channel 5 will do differently could make it that little bit more successful. It's just a matter of whether it'll keep it up

CBB launch will be about 4.5m and the final/BB12 launch about 3.5m

CBB average will end up being around 2.5m if they get it right

BB average will be about 2m, final being about 3m

I think people are overestimating the amount that will inevitably drop off. Channel 5 doesn't have that much of a lower audience than Channel 4, its not like Neighbours again.

Last CBB launched with 6.7m.
