Many hate it anyway but no-one can deny it's not been a viewer (and money) puller for many years. But I'm sensing it's waning. Big style. Producers/presenters are resorting to even more desperate measures to get people interested (or try) which is generally actually backfiring as people roll their eyes and don't care what's in the papers, nor believe it.

I think it has another year or two in America. On some channel or another somewhere....... but does anyone else think it's doomed here?

Can't deny I enjoy some of it myself. Easy weekend watching. Nothing brain taxing and often a laugh. But I still think it's doomed......

I think there's only so much more of "Mean judge says no, nice girl says yes, third judge has a dramatic pause" and other such clichés everyone can take. I just don't understand why people aren't bored of the whole thing already, it's been 10 years.

For me it's the easy/idle viewing thing. Same with quiz shows and the like. Kick up your feet and just giggle inanely (or nod off)

I hate "talent shows" ..... I loved OGWT in the '70's and the Tube in the '80's - Bob Marley and ZZ Top - who needs "judges" to appreciate real talent .....

So ..... "The Panel Of Judges Format" can FO ASAP, but I doubt that it will - it's been around since the dawn of American TV .....

PS I also hate bliddy dancing, cooking, skating, cleaning and any other so-called "reality shows" featuring alleged "experts" .....
