I know it's a bit early to make this but, it's been confirmed.

A sequel was officially confirmed in 2010. The original release date of the film was November 16, 2012, but it was later changed to November 2, 2012 to avoid competition with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. Well I've seen articles about this so I'm not just going by Wikipedia's word, but yeah. Thoughts?

Sounds good as long as it's done correctly. Not often a fan of prequels. This one sounds good though. Monsters Inc. is my favourite film, I hope this isn't a disaster.

Monsters Inc has always been my favorite Pixar film so I really hope this one is just as good.

Like Callum stated above, alongside Toy Story, Monsters Inc. is one of my favourite Disney films, so I hope they do this justice.

Monsters Inc is one of the first films I remember seeing, probably the first I saw at the cinema. So this is really exciting I believe Pixar will do this justice. It's a prequel after all, so I'm happy they didn't touch the perfect ending of Boo saying "Kitty" and then the amazing credits
