Ravenholm is probably the high point of the game and a welcome reprieve from the seemingly endless canal levels. I still think it pales as a game in comparison to the original Half-Life because the wow factor fades pretty fast but it's obviously a very decent game.

Episode 1 is a serviceable follow up but Episode 2 is the game at it's best. Wait until you get to that.

Awesome, I agree, so far I rate Half Life 1 better than this, the one thing about playing this is I know there's no episode 3 coming up so its gonna end on a cliff hanger.

I like how Portal ties in with Half Life too

Finshed Ep.2

I loved episode 2 best, I wouldn't mind if Half Life 3 had sections like the car section in that (and it'd be like 100x more detailed now).

I'd love if they put Counter Strike Source out as a download for PS3 and Xbox. I know it's dated and doesn't garner as much interest as it used to but I've never gotten into any other online shooter as much. We used to go twelve hours straight LAN as a group in internet cafes every weekend on the thing.
