Default Advice? (PS3 Related)

So I sold my Oxegen ticket (Karl I know it's heartbreaking, I might go on the Saturday to see AM & FF ) and I have some cash so i think i'll step into 2011 and buy a PS3. I have absolutely no clue what one to get. Can someone explain the best package to get?

If you have a game centre near you I'm sure they do a package with the ps3 slim and 2 games thought for £250.

I depends how you want to save your games, wether you save separately at every stage or just overwrite data every time. If you don't mind overwriting then more space wouldn't be as important.

And also wether you are just going to use it for games or also store movies/music on there.
Oh and if you are more likely to buy disk games then you wouldn't need as much space compared to if you buy games on the online store.

It mostly depends if you are going to be buying and downloading a lot of stuff from playstation store imo, if its mostly demos you are downloading that you will probably delete once you have finished with them then the 120gb would probably be more than enough but if you want to use it for saving music and videos then I would go for the 320gb.

I'm sure 320GB would be more than fine, I have a 120GB and am perfectly happy.
And plus if you do run out of space you can always get the HD upgraded.
And I'm sure you wouldn't fill up the HD in less than 2 years anyway.

Think I've got one of the smallest memories available but haven't ever had a problem with it. I only play football games though

I bought 120 gig and never had any problems. It's more memory than anyone could ever need at one time. You can always just delete games and re download them free of charge. It's not like your going to be playing 20 or 30 of them at once.

That's probably the best price your going to get for a brand new 160GB and get the games you want seperate it will save you a lot more money then paying about £280+ for the bundles which usually only come with Black ops you can get that now for about £20 anyway if you want that

Yep, 250 euro is a steal. Best price your going to get for a new PS3.

Free delivery too. Just make sure and get an HDMI cable if your playing it on a HD. It doesn't come with HD cables. Play.com is the best for them too. 3 quid versus 20 quid in stores.

I should have mine back in about a week or two. I was going to switch back to the Xbox but I can't be arsed. The PS3 is the way to go.

Getting quite a few TiBB users now. We'll have to get some proper games going some time.
