i imagine this happens every year around this time (relevant to when the show starts obviously, as this year is a little later!)

i had a missed call which I couldnt answer whilst I was at work yesterday from an unknown number. I would normally just think it was a sales call only i havnt had one of those in ages and the last few unknown number calls i had have been from big brother, and also to add to the paranoia, its been two weeks since my diary room audition and i kind've expected call backs to happen from 2 weeks + after working the google machine and doing a little research.

anyone else either had a callback or a missed call? can we make something of this?

i imagine if it WAS them they would probably try again today so fingers crossed its not when im at work again if they do!

well lets say no-one is going to post on here if they do get a call back as they would be fools to do so. But i can see the call backs happening in the next 2 weeks or so. Id say if you havnt heard by the end of this month then its a no. But if you do miss a call from them dont worry as they will continue to try until they get hold of you, they will not let any potential houstmates slip away

yeah true, theres nothing at all to link this account to who i am though, no details about my identity, i pretty much made it so i could enquire to other people interested in the topic to aid my research without being outed so to speak.

its quite weird, i only filled out the online application half seriously, sort of as a joke. The amount of interest they showed in me at the auditions has kind of made me sort of obsessed with the idea. i'm totally not that sort of person either!

yeahn i know but other people do have picture of themselves and links back to who they are so i think you'll struggle to find anyone admitting to getting a callback. But as you have remained annoymous would be good to say if/when you do get a call back so people who have applied on here will be able to know that this is the time to expect a call so they are not waiting forever so to speak lol. Best of luck to you though and hope you do well, but my advice to you as you mentioned you only entered half seriously and you say your not that sort of person, just make sure if you do make it through that it is something you really want to commit to as it can all seem great and you can easliy get caught up in it but then when you go in the house reality dawns on you and some end up walking and thas the last thing viewers/big brother/other auditionees/yourself would want, but on the flip side some that audition without the full intention of going on can end up very inresting housemates, im a good friend of eugene's and he only auditioned cause his friend did and didnt expect to go anywhere with it. So like i said think hard about it and best of luck.

well when i say half seriously i meant i didnt expect to get anywhere with it. i know i'm not necessarily "somewhere" at the moment but theres every chance. i've just been surprised at my own enthusiasm for the process! when i got yes's, i just assumed that most people did but then from more research it seemed that a small minority got yes's, which has only made me more keen lol.

its so easy to get carried away though, the further you get in the process the more fascinating you start to believe you are...

What happens when you get a callback? Because you have already done the DR stage and group discussions..

Will you have to go back to London for more group discussions and further individual interviews??

To be fair.. I am guessing the next round is the "psychological" stage! They will ring back people to come back to London for this I reckon! Within the next 2 weeks. If quite a few fail this stage.. then they will ring back more people after 2 weeks, towards the end of the month I reckon!

next stage has varied over the years and as the numbers are low im not sure how they are going to do it to stop potential housemates meeting each other. However its normally a callback to london where you are met in a tube station and taken for group games and an interview with head BB producers. However like i said before with numbers being low i doubt they would want people to meet each other. After that it is psychologist talk, police checks, more questionnares, IQ tests, and things for BBLB. Then its left in the hands of BB
