well thats what i thought at first, but then why would they only show it once, at the start, almost like they are hinting
plus if they were ever going to do the bedsit twist they would have to create a second entrance
and also, if it is just a decoration then its a very strange one at that

My guess:
4 weeks in, 3 pairs left, 4 people with golden keys
the 4 people get to vote out one of the 3 remaining pairs, probably Brendon and Rachel because everyone will hate them by that point
they go to The Bedsit for a week and get to watch the live stream inbetween
the 8 people now play individually
1 gets voted out at the end of the week
Brendon and Rachel walk back in
Normal rules to the end of the show

The people in charge of decoration and design have NOTHING to do with production i think. The looks of the house, and all the design aspects, seriously, the writers/producers couldn't care less about.

I don';t wanna disappoint people, but seriously, BBUSA is a summer show, they don't put that much thought into it. :P

If Allison asks for an extra entrance for a secret room for a twist and im sure the designer would make it happen
As for BBUSA not having much thought, I agree, and thats why copying a BBUK twist is my guess.

what does alice in wonderland have to do with the twist of nemesis in season 8? none of the house designs or decor have ever had anything to do with the season twists or anything to do with the game play ever.

The people that design the house have nothing to do with the producers at all. trust me.

How the house looks has no bearing At ALL on how the game is played or any of the twists.
