Default USA thrash Brazil...

As per usual team USA step up to the plate and perform under pressure.

Anyone watch the game if not then omg, you missed a great match.

I've said it from the beginning, USA only perform well when they are properly challenged.

Will France or sweden or japan challenge them sufficiently? i dunno.

But team USA's kit looks like it needs another star.

Just my humble opinion. :P

(pooor Marta lol, she got booo'ed so badly by the german's i do feel kinda bad for her...lol)

USA will probably go on and win it now that Germany are out

you now what, i think it might be a SWE/USA final, and i think the swedes might just pull it out (especially if the refs are performing as they have been all tournement)

I wouldn't be suprised to see Sweden win the whole damn thing. especizlly now that we know how corrupt FIFA is.

FIFA does NOT want USA to win.

FIFA wants it to be a "european" game. especially in the women's league.

Does anyone honestly think the Dutch are the 2nd best men's team in the world? c'mon now. If USA win's this it will be against incredible odds.

The FIFA ranking points system needs a huge makeover but i suppose they are the Runners up of the last world cup and you can't really base anything on friendly's either things like Italy being 4 places above Argentina though are a bit strange considering they never made it out of an easy World cup group and have been on a shocking run of form ever since Euro 2008

The Women's game is so dodgy.. games tend to me won based on mistakes rather then tactical awareness and just pure talent in top level in the men's game

it is interesting. i'll definitely be watching!

Watching marta's temper tantrums like a 4 y/o child was worth it alone! lol hopefuly the french will put up an equally interesting struggle.

i must admit, after watching the canadians reel in pain after they got thrashed by france last week, and listening to the canadians constantly talk about how "the american's have lost their mojo" i really want the USA to put some hurt on france, just to prove to the canadians, that yes, team USA is a million times better than you!

It's always fun shutting up the canadians.

The US were so lucky. Brazil dominated the match but strugled to break down the extremly defensive minded Americans (Inferior teams do that as it's the only way they can win). Then the US got a fluke equalizer and then won the lottery of penalties. Can't see them winning it, not good enough.

The one thing about womens football, the technique has got a hell of alot better, but the goalkeeping standards are still very very very awful

I wasnt rooting for Brazil to be honest, brazilian footballers are quite arrogant regardless of their gender so sometimes it's good when they lose so they realize they're not going to win just because they are brazilians.

Brazilians are very arrogant but i do applaud them for having the 5 stars the men have won and put it on the ladies uniform maybe if they do that for the US men side that might actually motivate them to friggin win (USA will win the final trust me 2-1 against Sweden, if the refs screw up another usa game oh they will get booed out of Germany)

and BTW did the brazilian player who faked a cramp did they get yellow carded? I thought they did

It was Marta who did that isnt it? Yes, she got yellow carded.

That's another thing that irritates me about brazilian footballers, they are all actors
