Unhappy Will channel five make an even bigger hash of BB than Channel 4

I ask this question because of the poor record Channel Five has with reality TV shows

"Back to Reality" anyone?

Given their track record, I find it a shame hat Channel five have got this, as when things go even more pear shaped, they will forget some of the good that was achieved in the early years, like highlighting issue of the shoddy treatment of Downs people by the National Health service, dyslexia and Body dis-morphia

I don't think any channel could do worse for BB than what Channel 4 allowed to happen to it in the last 2 series as least.

BB could have been the flagship series on Channel 4 for decades still had it made sure it had the right planning ad allowed it to remain a 'real' reality show.

I have every faith in C5 on making this a success. Aren't we forgetting that Back To Reality was on 'FIVE' now it's 'Channel 5' and Richard Desmond owns C5 he is quite good. No matter what anyone says. C5 are revamped. And plus this is now there flagship programme!! They are putting so much into this. Also your forgetting. C5's are overseeing the production. Endemol and Hello Charlie are producing it, same as before so if it flops (Whig I highly doubt) but if it does endemic and hc are to blame. Plus can't you see? The eye is a sign of change, actually no, the eye shows the simicity and how high tech he show is. I think the ****storm whic happens over the eye showed us how much of a free it became. Idiots on Facebook saying 'epic fail eye channel 5 haha it was designed by a 12 year old on paint' this shows us how much we relied on the eye and graphics instead of the show itself. T became a farce on channel 4 now it's time a new era comes, I have a feeling people who stopped watching the show on c4 will watch on c5 I think nb is staying for a while. Channel 5 are gonna make this work. It's produce by endemol and hello Charlie alongside with channel 5 it will work. It will become a success' I can tell by the eye. It's so dynamic and stylish but yet so simple. It is what the show is all about b is watching us. Plus the mere fact we have a BB Eye and the same theme music along with Marcus Bentley should point out nothings changed. Except the channel.

C5 aren't making it, Endemol are, they will have input like C4 did, probably more from what we've heard, but not enough to worry about.

they need to sort out the coverage.
I fully respect some wont have a problem with just the highlight show.
Endemol made such a cockup with the biased Editing the hl show is near a work of Fiction.I think Cutting Josie's Keeva rant midway proved that.

C5 need this show to work after paying such a large amount of money,I do think Endemol Side they needed fresh blood right through theres a lot of people still there linked to the weaker series of the show.

It's true Enedemol are making it, but the Channel it is broadcast on does have a great say as to what is shown via broadcasting on their Channel.

Channel 4 beacme obsessed with viewers rantings against it and it was likely the then production team had to act to alter and edit what was included.
They both went too far and ruined a really good set of series before the changes,BB is still a great ides, I hope Channel 5 will be more open in what it allows to be broadcast to the vast majority of people watching.

Totally.C4 almost seem terrified of people making a complaint (even though all of them were dismissed by Ofcom).when they even started to bleep the swearing.....

thats the good thing about C5 I dont think it will draw the people who just loved to complain about anything and everything on channel 4 owing to the way its funded.

I totally agree with you on that, it's what I am also hoping for from Channel 5 too.

The fans of Big Brother will still tune in no matter what channel it's on. But hopefully it will attract the attention of casual viewers as well.
