Default Anna Svidersky R.I.P [Something to put a lump in your throat]

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYppbbbSxjc

I tried to put the video on here but it won't do HTML! so view it at the link.

To alot of you this is just another sad thread or news article, but to the people who knew her she was their daughter, best friend, niece, cousin, crush, grandaughter, sister, prom date. Think of how they feel? and how you would feel if this happened to someone close to you.

Anna was stabbed at random while she was working at McDonalds one night. The made it to the hospital and died in the hospital at 9:00 that night. This shouldn't be happening. The man that stabbed her is being charged with murder. He shouldn't be living. A life for a life. Anna was such a sweet beautiful girl. Remember to enjoy the time given to you and appreciate your loved ones, friends and family alike, since you never know when your time comes or if your life will be taken from you. She has touched people around the world. She's got people in the UK crying. She was graduating this June. She missed her birthday. "[lovely] is legal is legal in 6 days" is her MySpace name...

R.I.P Anna Svidersky

Go to Her Myspace ..
www.myspace.com/sceneslut

The comments she has will make you ball your eyes out ..
They made me think , what if she was your best friend ?

I heard about this story a few weeks ago, was a tragic story but thats life. You run the risk everyday and it's part of society nowadays for there to be a crazed nutcase about.

How the BBC is reporting this (audio only)

On this clip some criticism given of those who never knew her posting comments, sort of like the "grief industry" allegations Borris Johnson made about Liverpool.

For reference this happened in the US.

It's funny how nobody knew her before she died, and now she's dead everyones claiming to know her or her friends?!

She's from Vancouver, Washington?! I doubt the thousands of people in Britain saying they know her actually do.

A lot of people claim a lot of things.
I don't need to claim nothing.

I do know one of her friends, i have done for a bit of time, just over myspace and stuff, i don't know Anna, but i can feel what it's like to lose someone that meaningfull and close to someone.

But without dragging on about it.
People need to be realistic almost everyone has a best friend, and when people lose them they are hit hard.

Someone has to be some form of virtual shoulder, which is what i was to her friend. A lot of people say they know her so they look good....this isn't something to boast about, because those who were "lucky" enough to know Anna in person, are the only ones that can feel real grief.

For the thousands that have left "comments" on the profile made in Anna's memory [me being one of them] it's just a sign that something so sick and twisted and evil can impact on a worldwide factor.

But looking closely into things, I don't see many if any teenagers bothered to an extent of making a deal of "the tsunami" of 2004 boxing day.

Thats a more worldwide thing. This hit a little community hard, and because Anna had myspace it was driven around myspace quicker than you can say "Grade 8" i didn't hear about it in that bulletin i heard about it via the friend i'd known for ages.

And in effect i only cried when i read the R.I.P messages on her "real" page because they made me think of my loss.

Sorry but that girl's death, however tragic, has been blown out of proportian.

I feel if we were to mourn everyone that died, we'd be here all day writing messages of sorrow.

On top of that, hundreds of people a day are being shot.. stabbed.. blown up all over the world, but everyone turns a blind eye on that. Even the earthquake in Indonesia has probably got less coverage then this girl and over 4,000 people died!

For this i agree with.
And i said that but my point was muffled.
And the tsunami was hardly a major issue with...how do i put this? "most of the teen generation"!

I say most because i know some teens really do give a [****] about stuff like that.

This was only worldwide main stream because of MYSPACE.
If the bulletin hadn't of been made 98% of people would never of known.

Like i said i knew originally because i knew her friend and her friend told me. Myspace is a media circus aswell.

And i agree one death shouldn't be singled out.
People die almost every minute of every day.

Some stand out more than others due to the media and how things happen.

Like when the Ian Huntley Saga was known about The two girls that went missing we in the press everyday.

But i read my free copy of the metro newspaper every weekday and they have on a page a missing person in a little blue box. it makes me think why is one person more important than the other.

This thread may have been shown in a wrong light.

I copied the original content from "the myspace bulletin"

Tragic. Yes.
Blown out of proportion. Yes.

I'd like this thread closed locked please.

Just leave the thread Ryan. It's not hurting anyone. You were merely expressing your feelings. It's in the "general chat" section, and you are entitled to post there.

It's all good.

There is an old saying

"The death of a child is a trajedy, the death of 10,000 is a statistic."

FWIW

Well....to a certain degree i don't agree something like this should've been blow out of proportion.

Even though i did start this thread.
Like you've said most people know about it anyway.

Through numerous media sources.

But again i never heard about it originally through the media.
I heard about it from her friend.

So i'm not really a major part of the media circus.

I believe that it's not as bad as it was at the beginning.
But i feel her friends have done the Memorial profile etc etc...as their way of seeing if other people have had similar acts or losses...[not in the way they happened but just the matter of a loss thats so close]
And people went on there posting comments in memory of Anna.

I saw a post on there the other day.
And it was a complete ********* saying something like he's glad anna is dead or something like that! And to be honest it hit me hard to think some wanker would say that! but i moved on an thought he will soon get what they call "his commupance".

I think soon it will die away.
Her REAL friends will be the only ones to remember her.
And soon people will forget to comment on the profile made in memory of her.

Thats the way the cookie crumbles and life burns away.

I really don't agree with having this memorial MySpace page for her and seeing all these videos made by people who hadn't a clue who she as.

1) All these people post messages saying Rest In Peace. Well leave her rest in peace then and shut down the MySpace that's lingering on and on. She should be remembered in people's hearts. People that actually knew her. People who cared for her existance when she was alive. Not people who only care for her now that she's dead.

2) I agree with Tanser, it's got so much attention that other worthy causes could have done with. Fair enough, it's not nice to see anyone die in this way. But there are people dying every second... sometimes in their thousands from tragic events like the Tsunmai in SE Asia.

I don't know to be honest. Let the girl rest in peace.
