John has been eating too much in the house! Has anyone noticed his face is notably fuller than Edward's? Wasn't so when they went in. Very easy to tell them apart now!

They don't seem to have lost any of their usual ebullience, judging by Twitter!

Hey, I'm thinking of changing my avatar to a Jedward one just as a reminder to certain haters, when I start posting in the BB12 forum. What do you guys think?

I think that would be well Jel

I just wanted to say well done to the twins, they did good, and they know it

It really doesn't matter what their dislikers think, as there will always be some no matter what. I doubt I will ever really like some of the housemates that were in there with them, Some I didn't before and still don't, so for that reason alone I won't be going into other threads saying well done if I don't really mean it. I accept it is only a game show and am happy for Jedward, as I never expected or wanted them to win as I didn't think they needed to and it might have tied them to obligations expected of a winner. They can now get on with their touring, something they must have missed.

I don't really like Paddy much at all, but with what was left in there he was the only possible choice really, for me anyway, to stop Kerry winning, so for that reason alone I was glad of the top four he was the winner, and am just glad the boys are out that house and back in the arms and warmth of their fans and their family and friends

So I probably won't be back in this section of the forum very often now but want to wish the twins well, and hope someone directs them to this thread. They were the best thing about this CBB, they lit up what could have turned into a very dull show otherwise. C5 got a gem in those two, and didn't even know it.

They are unphased totally by all that goes on around them, that's what I like about them.

They will compete like crazy in competitions and give their all but never whine about not being treated fairly or anything when they don't win.
In competitions there can only be one winner anyway.

They are unique in show business, Tara said again, the States would love them, Louis has been working on plans to take them there, what he is doing is really building up their profile until that takes place.
Eurovision opened a door to Europe too, it may be they represent Ireland again next year, that's not certain but that is the thing with them, they will be considered strongly for it again.

They will try anything, take anything that's thrown at them and never be bad losers or be vindictive to anyone who does better than them.
Far from being a joke to TV and show business, they are a credit to it.

I really believe they can follow a similar path to Ant and Dec.
They were seen as 2 zany silly guys playing at children, dabbling in the pop music business, they were slated for the near all Saturday morning TV show they had but then evolved into one of the most sought after acts on TV and presenters for almost anything.

Maybe in the back of his mind Louis sees that too and will start to groom Jedward into that kind of show business personality status.
No matter what, those who cannot stand them and said they would be forgotten and gone 6-9 months after X Factor, have been proven totally wrong, maybe that's why they are so vindictive about them, people hate to be proven wrong.

They are likely going to be around for years to come and likely decades too in my opinion.

The other thing I loved was in the diary room yesterday when the Twins said, our BB experience is that it's like we have been captured by aliens and they've been studying us to see what life's like on Planet Jedward.

Would be good to think there could be a TV series or Film in the making possibly there. It sounds a great idea.

I'm proud of what they did in there and in the process warmed themselves to some people. I don't begrudge Paddy his win at all and his winnings are going to a chosen charity but Jedward are my winners.

They are on OK TV tonight! Liking their tweets, they've already tweeted Tara and Amy.

I'm expecting Paddy to do a few interviews as part of the winning conditions and then return to his normal life, as the travelling communities don't seem to be keen on the media at all.

Jedward were the most talked about on there and had more of an effect on the show overall.

What happened to the unstoppable Jedward juggernaut?

Those who said they wouldn't win because people either love or hate them, with none in the middle ground, seem to have been right... thank God.

Some favourites of the bookies haven't won on final night e.g. Verne.

Jedward were disliked by a big section in the UK before CBB and ROI can't vote, so I would say 3rd place is a big acheivement for them due to just UK and Northern Ireland/Scotland and Wales voting.

I never believed in a Jedward juggernaut anyway, they have like many people in show business,a hardcore set of fans who will be with them all through their careers.

I have also said like you bbfan1991, that BB is the master of surprise results with odds on favourites rarely taking the winners place.
Chantelle for instance also being like Paddy more like a non-celebrity in her year but she came through to beat all the celebrities in with her.

Didn't think I would need to again race to defend Jedward on this thread though, seeing as it's a 'Jedward fan club thread' where positive comments as to them should be the norm but there it is.

I don't think you are giving the Irish much credit TBF.I am not Irish but have been living here for 12 yrs, sure we couln't vote ,but to presume Jedward would have done better if we could vote for them here is wrong
Sure they have fans here, but they have "the marmite effect" here also.

I know some Irish people do dislike Jedward but overall they do seem more popular there.

Chantelle was amazing. I would class her win more deserving than Paddy's, she was in the house with some vile people like Pete Burns, Rodman, and Barrymore etc and went in as a non celeb but triumphed.

They've had three out of four number one singles in Ireland and both their albums went to number one, with the first album going twice platinum

Now I'm not saying that it's set in stone with fans in Ireland, but that sure looks like they have quite a following over there.

Jedward have medium success in the UK. They have far more success in Ireland and in Europe, the UK market isn't all what it is cracked up to be anyway..

When they were signing autographs at my local tescos there must have been 400 or more fans there very excited. My 6 yr old daughter being one of them.
They certainly do have a fanbase here.
But to suggest that they would have done better on CBB if ROI could vote is simply a bit presumptuous

I can understand those that dislike Jedward are glad that the twins didn't win but as a Jedward fan looking at it from their perspective CBB was just another job and they will soon move on to the next project that they have planned with their good management team.

I refuse to believe that Kerry was a better housemate than them, even though she proved more popular in the vote.

TBF I didn't suggest they would have done any better, more that I had read (and I was surprised) at how much success they had had in Ireland with their music.

Exactly. To some it was a big deal, but to the twins CBB was exactly that - another job.

And job done............. they survived to the final and took home plenty of cash!

well they should stay there then!

The UK doesnt buy their crap. But obviously Ireland is a tiny market so they have to keep annoying us over here.
