We get about 60 days off over Xmas. But this is our last until then

Hmm, bonfire night? that sounds a bit ominous.. maybe the UK has had enuf bonfires for the year.

nope, never heard of it. is it like Burning Man festival maybe? i've heard of burning man, it's like for hippies, they go out into the desert and make a big bonfire, is it like that?

Yeah I guess so as we burn a thing called a GUY which is a model of guy Fawkes who tried to blow up the houses of parliment.

I am off to Scotland on Thursday night for the long weekend, just me and the hubby, the peace will be amazing.
