You know. I am rewatching Ultimate Big Brother and it is extremly similair to what we getting now. Task music, entrance montages and all that. It was then I realized that BB hasn't drastically changed since last year, it just had more of the same.

The drastic difference came across when I watched Big Brother 7 again over the past couple of weeks. Now obviously it was one of the best ever so let's not compare the content to the recent celebrity series or this one down the line. But it was the way it was treated that was so different. The eviction interviews were treated so seriously, with close up shots of the face in reaction to the footage. Every contender was edited unbiasedly with even Pete and Glynn getting shown to have a bad side. Also the highlight shown never EVER showed footage outside the house.
Now obviously the crowd and media attention added a lot to that series that hasn't been seen since but still.

What happened? Why did they start to give people "good edits" and "bad edits"? And when did the change begin?

But the main point of this post is to say that I think I will enjoy this series. But it will always be on my mind if we are being shown everything that truly goes on. I hope so.
