Default Voting rigged?

Agreed, kind of like when they made out Jedward came 3rd when they had the biggest fanbase by a mile.

The Jedward fans should have voted more then.

I do have to say I doubt votes are rigged at all but I am really amazed and do question why we have not the full breakdown of votes cast, in the first eviction to the 3rd eviction and much more so,why we have not the breakdown of votes cast in the final too for each placing.
I hope we get this for this BB series as I for one like to know the figures.

My view is this is a public vote and we should be told and shown clearly just how many votes are cast and how they are distributed.
I am at a loss and cannot answer anyone as to why these figures have not been released. We haven't even been told as to what percentage of votes Paddy even got as the winner yet either.

I also doubt very much that Pamela has been sleeping in that room, far too near the main house. She'd have been further away in the diary room.

Thats the thing though Joey,if the votes of CBB8 were genuine then I think they would reveal the figures.

But because C5 havent revealed the voting figures just proves my theory that at least two of the votes was rigged and that somebody else came in them positions.

Anyway on topic,I wouldnt be surprised if Pamela wont just have a picture of herself in the bedroom, but was really staying at a hotel.

They will NEVER give the number of votes cast. Even if they were to give percentages they'd be totally meaningless without a reference point.
10% means nowt if you have no idea what it is 10% of.

I expect a great number of people do vote in these things and many times too in some cases, I do for one and most people I know who watched CBB did too and are watching this one will vote as well.
We always got a breakdown of votes cast, even just percentages but the surprising thing is we haven't had a single percentage figure released over the whole CBB series.

That does seem odd to me. I would like to know even the percentages only, whether 500 votes were cast or 5,000,000. Since we take time to vote and spend money too, I feel we have that right to know the figures, especially at the end of a series.

You may well vote and some of your friends as well BUT if you are a part of 500 or even 5,000 (which is stretching it a bit!) They are NOT going to release those figures!

Well, they open the door to suspicion if they don't give us the information.I thought more transparency had to be done when anything involved the public voting for things or entering competitions after all the rigging that went on in those situations that came to light a couple of years back.

It's a simple thing to say the winner got so much % of the votes and then go down the placings with the details.

I am not bothered as to the actual voting figures but in near all things you do get the % breakdowns of votes the competitors got, that was always the case with BB before, it's one thing that should be done as a right not having to be asked for.

I said 500 or 5,000,000 not 5000, and it isn't stretching it at all you know.If you had like 3,000,000 watching the final as was stated, if just around a third of those people voted and voted say just 5 times each over the whole week of the final, you would easily have 5,000,000 votes and likely even more.

I used 5,000 as a more realistic figure but if you think that they could ever get close to 5,000,000 well good for you!

Well that's massively unlikely that only 4 votes would be cast,However, yes it tells me someone gets 3 out of 4 votes rather than 1 out of 4 votes, there were 7 people in the final and I would like to know the rest of them too.

I don't know for sure how many people voted and how many times but I am sure it will be a very big sizeable number that voted and voted far more than once too indeed.

If I spend money on something I like to see results of my money spent especially on voting for people in reality shows.

We learn all the voting percentages in X Factor, Dancing on Ice etc, so we should as to BB too and in fact always have until now.

Actually it doesn't tell you that someone got 3 votes out of 4 UNLESS you know how many votes were cast.

I will reveal a bit of information to you, which you may laugh at but none-the less it is a fact.

Over the week of the final I cast around 100 votes just myself,I watched the final with 19 other people who when voting for their favourites also voted at least 25 times each.

My family, near all my family, also made multiple votes for their favourites too,I think my figures would be nearer the mark than yours. If they only got the figures voting you are suggesting, we wouldn't ever have these shows to vote in, it wouldn't be worth their while at all.

5000 votes for instance would only bring in £1750 total,it wouldn't even go anywhere near covering some of the lines needed for voting let alone bring revenue to the programme.

I am not asking for the figures for total votes cast, I am sure I know they will be huge.

I would though and I think a good many others too would like to know the percentage breakdowns as to eviction voting and the final placings for the final.
You are not interested in the voting percentages that's perfectly fine for you,I am though and a great many others are likely to be too and there I leave this debate now because we are running round in circles.

For those a little confused by this thread, I split it from another topic, as the majority of posts in here were nothing at all to do with the original topic.

In future, try to keep threads on topic, or risk having your posts deleted. I will not be splitting them everytime.

The voting isnt rigged, they have independant verifiers to check the actual numbers of votes cast per line, the figures released to the public have to be accurate. Ofcom and Oftel have issued guidelines TV shows etc have to follow.

The actual voting figures including percentage figures can be obtained from the verifiers, for a fee of course.

Thank you Vicky, it was partly my fault, apologies from myself for the inconvenience. I was actually confused in the end as to what thread I was on and got carried away in the debate above.

Haha, its fine, I know it happens sometimes

Its just when threads go really offtopic like that one did, but still have some decent posts in, I prefer to split them rather than just delete...unless its the same people doing it all the time.
